In this day and age hundereds and thousands of games come out every year, all need a review, but before reviewing the reviewer must play the demo/full version with well known magazines and papers the publisher may release them a copy to use to review. Some gamers use reviews as the word of god and may determine whether they go out and buy the game, others choose to go out and buy it anyways.

Forums/websites that have many members often quickly generate there own views on a game, when these views are formed some people may take them on without either knowlage of the game or any game time in it. These gamers will spread there views and more then often more follow.

This process is not good, and personally i dont like, i have the view that you must try "zed" game before making a personal review, sure it is understand able some games have sharp graphics and look good but not all of them are good much can be said with games which dont have outstanding graphical caperbilities, but these games must be given a equal chance. such classics as pacman, tetris, pong, space invaders and many many more are held in high regrads and oblivously dont have good graphics but have stood the trial of time, why are new games different?

personally i think the command and comquers and similar games have pretty lacking gfx but have the most outrageous gameplay.

Games should be judges on gameplay and plot much more then there graphics.

So you people who wish to stand on the side lines and watch the games role by and throw insults at them without trying them. Stop, think and download the trial.

Because for every gamer who takes the time to try the game there will be someone who stands there to insult it, whether its a well known game like world of warcraft and its so called childish graphics or a unknown game with pixel like graphics, try them first because they could be the next mario 64

im actually very open to new games and i;ve played like 35-40 mmo over the
years; all the f2p ones n a lot of betas. people that havent tried out games
cant really comment on it. therefor, i suggest they try n stay out of the threads
because they will just start neverending discussions about the game being good
or being bad.. while they havent even played it yet.

anyway, yall get the point.

I still enjoy PSX classics today though it is hard to find the time to play them. I admit that I'm a graphics freak when it comes to PC games. I'll only play PC games with graphics like Guild Wars or Half Life 2. I do enjoy Starcraft still though. I think I am in between.

graphics is important well I dont want have a stick runing around and hit mobs whit ,.. some point i agree test it for sure first ,But i can say only to hear about the game you know if is a game for you even if you dont try you self the game when is a bigger game or online games. And really what is fun to download trial when you cant test all stuff in the game and is limit ,take much space in the comp and so on, and the smaller game is other matter so i belive the most ppl download it and test it.

will be interesting to play, they can be god awful games or pure classics...

agreed but then again the leveling 1-cap is ok if you dont rush as pvp is quite nice and i did love the idea of the hunter/thief/trader jobs but with all the problems it quickly gets fustrating and a grind fest in wow it has a lot more to offer pvp wise, job wise, plot, and overall things to 1-cap and stil a whole lot more to do at cap, even the cloths are different compared to the 3 classes of armor in sro wow has 6 and not just one set per level stage either. tbh i dont know why people dont try wow its a lot moe interesting and most likly cheaper then sro ironicly
