HP Recovery 25% increase

i know, i know, theres topics about angel wings, but its very hard to talk about this one component when everyone is talking about the million other things. Plus this is going to help a LOT of people. What we need to definatively know is what does the stat of "HP Recovery 25% increase" do?

I dont have it for my wings, and i dont plan on buying new ones to test it out. So for those of you who DO have it, help us out.

Without wings:
In a cape with a friend, get damaged while your moving (so you wont get any natural healing) with pots off. Record your hp after being hit (takes SS's for us!) then use 1 pot, any size, and record the hp you gain. KEEP MOVING so you dont get the auto heal from standing around.

MAKE SURE YOU GET HURT A LOT SO WE CAN SEE BEFORE AND AFTER HPS!!!!!!! its no good if you go from 90% hp to 100% hp

Second, get hit again, record your hp while moving, then just stand and see how much you gain after one auto heal takes place. Do the same again but sit down this time.

Get hit AGAIN, and have someone heal you recording your hp before and after.

Now do all of this again, but with your wings on, and hopefully something should come up with definative proof of a difference. IF you have a calculator handy, calculate and percentile differences betweens tests, hopefully it comes out to around 25% for one or multiple instances, if not, then there is human error factored in, and try to retry if you dont mind.

Hopefully someone out there can help us, I wish i had the stats and didnt have to make this topic ASKING people, but rather TOLD people. Sorry.

Every has the question, no one seems to post the answer in any of the topics ive read, so please, someone help out.

its been asked tons of times, but no one is able to confirm it 100% people only offer 100 different possibilities of what it means.

And someone is going to pay 130 silk for that?

I don't believe that for a second. It would be so stupid to make that do that. Out of all the people on the forum who here sits down to recover hp? no one. So adding a 25% increase isn't really going to affect people too much.

Unless you can provide me the proof, i just cant believe that. But if it is true :shock:

it means everytime u pot, it gives you 25% more HP. A definite must, in addition to 5% dmg increase..

The other 2 stats are up to personal preferences, no right no wrong answer

buy an angel wing, put the attribute on, and use a stop watch and/or fraps and test it out for youself lol.

i honestly dont care if people believe me or not, it's not like i gain anything from it. heck, i will have an easier time killing people if they dont believe me lol

use a xlarge pot and it will give you a lot more than what it used to, a lot more than 820HP.

I would like to know that too. I only got 2 blues on my wings and was waiting for someone to confirm what hp recovery really does.

Err ... If I had say .. 100 hp left from me 20k .. 1 XL-Pot which is suposed to heal me for '820' heals me infact for roughly 5k.

Without angel wings go let some guy whack you till you have like 50% hp. then use 1 HP POT. I assure you you will have 13k+ hp instead of 10850 hp.

Oh my above statements were not referring to the 25% hp regen. AFAIK that's only for sitting down.

Hmm...

Closest definition would be from the Cleric "Faith" Passive... It says HP Recovery also and the skill defines it as Increased "Healing Power"... Which I believe means either you get more out of potting or simply just more when you get "Healed".

im so sad now... i tested it out and its when ur sitting down.......... iv not tryed just standing in 1 spot only sitting(with out using pots) and walking (using pots) ....

It does the same that HT does but weaker, and it doesnt affect MP.

i tested it with and with out wings on both sitting(not potting) and runing(potting)

Could you do a more thorough test for us?

I assume the stat could do 1 or all of 3 things:

1. Decreases recovery time when using a pot. You will notice that when you pot there is a 3 phase hp heal. That takes X amount of time. Does that time shorten with the wings?

2. Increases the amount of HP healed when using a pot?

3. A. Increases Hp recovery when not moving, similar to a harmony circle?
B. Does standing or sitting have any effect.

These have to be tested individually with wings on and without. If you have any questions let me know. I will give you a cookie for your help

And to all you people asking for screenshots. WHAT THE HELL are you talking about. You cant get a screenshot of HP recovery.

Glavie dear I beleive they mean something like this:

To screen shot a hp recvoery do this:

turn off the auto potion feature.

have someoen smack you down to like 10%

take screen shot, so we see the amount of current hp.

put on wings

click once with your mouse a potion(tell us what it is, ie med, large..etc.)

take screen again once pot finishes potting.

compare hp before pot and after pot

We know a what each pot heals for, so if its more then the actually pot with the wings on we know that it increases the "amount" an hp pot heals for.

getting 25% more hp from a pot is totally OP, which is why im in disbelief.

i DID buy wings i DONT have the stats, and you cant change stats, so there is no way for me to test it.

thats the problem, a lot of people want to know, but no one can provide proof which is why i made this topic, sadly, people continue to speculate. I really wish i could of done it myself.
