have you looked around recently...more than half the ppl on this forum can;t log in....we've all posted things on the main site complaining about the bot problem....you nightbloom who've been apart of sro should know more than many how long the bot problem has existed and remained unpersecuted by JM.....i don't think they're making money off but i really don't think they care that much because we've all come up with solid solutions that will eliminate the bot problem...plenty of other MMO's have them in place already

@zelzin it seems like you just like to stir up trouble...your last post was chastising the mods and now your joining the hundreds of other who use this place as an outlet for their rage against bots...its just becoming deafening if NB is such a supporter of this kind of stuff go join her forum....

im so tired of ppl point out that simple misspelling...i wrote a whole guide and never misspelled it once >_<

and yeah its a public forum but spam comes in all shapes and sizes and all this bot crying is become spam really fast....clearly your not going to stop complaining about bots, and mods, and what ever else you have shoved up their so im out of this topic...

But hey, as long as its against the ToS, I care. There isn't much I can do about it but I still care. I'm pretty sure JM will do something about it in time.

I've had friends that went from bot hunting to not caring. All my friends that don't care either bot or quit playing sro.

personally i dont mind if every other thread is about bots. why? because botting IS the number one problem in this game. It is common sense really. bot topics come up because botting is a problem, and bot topics CONTINUE coming up because botting CONTINUES to be problem, a problem that joymax with their utter incompetence fails to even attempt to fix. If botting is stopped today then posts about bots will also stop today. common sense anyone?

i agree with what the other guy said, what else is there worth talking about? this is a forum about SRO. should we talk about the Iraq war instead? nobody is stopping other ppl from posting their other threadworthy stuff like 'look i just killed TG 2841735th time' or 'look i just +2 my lv8 bow'. so why stop bot topics which have far far more serious impact on this game? Contrary to what many think, continuous spam of bot topics on here and on main SRO forum does have an effect. It is hurting joymax badly in terms of reputation, and trust me, there's nothing more important than reputation in this competitive MMO market.

my advice to bot topic whiners(yes thats a new name for you), let the masses post. if you dont like to read just skip the topic. no doubt, most bot topics do not bring any new ideas to the table. if that is so then just let the thread die naturally to page5. Posting arrogant replies against others who post such topics does not make you a more noble human being. At best it reflects badly on your own character as an arrogant a-hole, at worst you come across as a bot supporter or a botter. think abt it.

hardest part is to actually find a few who have the same mentality as you do. it is still the player behind the bot that matters the most.

I believe that the shut down on "bot talk" is one of the leading reasons it has gotten so out of hand. There was a time when it was a real stigma, no one said "I think botters who have KS turned off are nice." The loss of that bitter hatred is what made the category of "acceptable botters" exist. Even I fell into that trap, a situation I will regret for a long time to come. Seeing all these "I hate botters" threads may be something that keeps another newb player from becoming one, fostering a larger legit community.

No one HAS to read every thread, there are plenty of threads that are created that dont have a single mention of bot in them.

ya, botting is such a common and open thing these days, people have no regard for who they tell, its like you cant be banned, even if you sent in screens of urself botting, its like it cant happen. I have convos with babysitting botters about them botting...its a part of the game now

goldbuyers and goldbots are the real problems in this game. the people who bot would more than likely be in-game anyway whether there were botting or afk stalling, but 50-100 goldbots running 24/7 for each company makes server traffic rediculous

Bots have been on SRO from almost day one. They know it goes on but they haven't fixed it. We are talking about years now. Get used to it or leave the game.

Just from March of last year to this month. There have been almost two thousand posts about bots. LOL everyone knows about the bots by now!

Sadly hes right....90% of the players on my server are arogant ass wipes that do nothing but KS and spawn rape people 10+ levels lower than them
