Crossroads with my rogue

Currently I have a lvl 31 dagger rogue with bard subclass. I've been reading some topics around the forum, and have been thinking about benefits of having a cleric subclass, and crossbows for pvp. So I'm now considering making a crossbow rogue with cleric subclass. Thing is, i really do enjoy moving march and noise, and i dont like having to carry bolts with crossbows. And seeing as I dont use a monkey(or any other silk pets) I have to run to the monsters to pick up my drops anyway. The only reason I'm considering recreating is possibly significant advantages in pvp. How useful is cleric subclass for solo grinding, and how useful is crossbows in pvp (particularly in the early lvls)? I tend to value pvp builds above all, so if a crossbow rogue with cleric skills is really a lot better than my current build, I will recreate. I know I should max out both daggers and crossbow eventually, but I plan to do that at lvl 80. At earlier lvls, which build is the easiest to pvp with? And should I recreate (I'm only 31, so I find recreating easier than reskilling at this point)?

IMO

Bard is best for Xbow rogues in PvE cause they have nice speed and don't have to worry about being aggrod

Cleric is best for Dagger rogues in PvP because dagger rogues are already in the heat of battle all the time so whats the point of having noise...its much better to have def and recovery division.

As far as PvP if your a dagger rogue again cleric is the best. Having speed won't help much if you can't do what you need to do by using scud you probably shouldn't have done it. Since your always up close its best to have a subclass that boost your def and recovery division acts kinda like having pots.

PvP for Xbow i'd say either Cleric or Bard would be useful cause with bad you've got the speed it takes to gain distance and with cleric you've got the def to take a couple hits if the enemy gets too close

-Lvl 40 Xbow skillz average more damage than dagger skillz

+Lvl 40 Dagger skillz do more damage than Xbow

So Xbox is great for early on pvp but later lvls with see dagger rogues becoming better for pvp

I would go for cleric because you can stack Crossbow Extreme and Bless Spell.

Well, I've found Bard to be a great help in pve especially for Dagger rogues. Less so for Crossbow rogues. Crossbow rogues can kill from a distance and only needs to run in when the area is clear, where as dagger rogues have to run in to hordes of monsters, which makes noise very useful. Usually I find a spot with a dense spawn (as in monsters spawn close together) and i just kill almost non stop with my dagger rogue with DD on. No danger of getting ganged. With moving march, moving between mobs is pretty quick, and with no charge up in dagger skills, I found I kill very fast. At lvl 30 I got 25% in 1 hour soloing with no gold or silver ticket fighting lvl 27 mobs. Thats why, the only way I'm gonna make a cleric subclass, is with a crossbow rogue, its too much work with a dagger rogue for me (in terms of grinding). If I do recreate, i'll get dagger skills after I'm done leveling to a decent lvl.

@XemnasXD: While the 40+ Crossbow skills are weaker than the 40+ dagger skills, are they actually less effective in pvp? After all, they do have knockdown and knockback. Dagger just has dull and a very low stun rate.

stay with bard its ok, if you are enjoying speed increase, after all it all about what you like most. And yes, daggers strongest attack is better than xbow, however, at later levels people will finally start to use destealth potions/skills, so it isnt very good feeling when you try to sneak to someone, but get one hit, but crossbow has range that is out of sight

stay with ur current build or slowly switch to xbow. i dont really find cleric usefull on rogue because you cant really find time in job wars to fully buff yourself. once uve got the cleric rod equiped you will be swarmed. that should be the cleric's job so dont worry about it

you wont always get swarmed... at least i didnt

i was xbow/dagger/cleric rogue

i used dagger for gianst.
and let me tell you it was great.

first i would keep KB and long shot keeping the jerk at a distance (nvr have extreme on) with my rapid shot every now and then.
i would switch cleric rod, pump bs, keep grinding for 45 secs, keeping my distance, then after 2 mins pump more bs, after the 2nd bs the giant is dead.

i only got killed when 2 giants decided 2 jump me (they have alot of hp)
i also ksed bots with extreme on (the bots atked pt mobs, so i ksed)

i agree with xem.
after lvl 40 rogue daggers pwn.

when i had my xbow, in PvP (although alexander pvp is pretty meh) i only used bless if they got TOO CLOSE.

but if i had daggers, i pretty much killed them (but some lvl 69 - 80 sox jerkoff kills me with thier dumb fire stealth killing moves arghzorz), also bless with daggers help.

i pulled bless and turned DD off, and went 2 battle. the guy i was fighting ( i think he was lvl 30? thought i was much higher lv. <3 bless.

usually its 50/50
i kill i die and repeat
only in the first few weeks of euro was i able to kill more than 1 person b4 dieing after leaving stealth. my max was 3 tried to get 4 but i have bad luck with scud

now i think people expect rogues to shank em
or snipe em, so thier always waiting

Bard as sub, definitely worth it, trust me because their buff long-lasting.

Just to let you know Bless Spell only last for 45 secs and have a cooldown time of 3 mins, so you use it quite oftenly. For this occasion I will rather go for bard Noise for better protection instead of that Bless Spell 45 secs.

Cleric and bard are both good. Just stick with bard, don't remake just for a new sub -_-

just raise your crossbow skills too!
bard is best defensive sub that you can have!

i have xbow with bard...
and its helping me alot!!!

cleric buffs are too short... so unteel you switch and buffing the xbow extreem skill the skill have only few sec to effect!

and dont worrie!!
i kill monsters 5 levels above my level and they'r cant even hurt me a bit!
they are dieng befoure they get me...

i kill them in 1 hit! (most of them)
