A minor question about crit on weps??

I have always wondered, does the crit on the weapon decide your posibility to hit crit or how high your crit dmg is, or both

ty for some very understanding answers, now i know what to do with my wep, but if a wep has crit +100% does it crit ALL the time, or just very often??

A crit 15 weapon, for example, has a 15% chance of doing a crit. The 100% only means how much the crit of the weapon is advanced into the weapons crit range.

Just find yourself a player with the weapon you own and read up on the crit range. You will find the (%) explained naturally.

As far as I can remember, a crit doubles the physical part of an attack. That's why pure INT crits are insignificant, whereas pure STR crits come close to doubling the total damage, hence STR builds deal almost exclusively physical damage.

build:Pach. Pure str (dont care about imbue... just think of pure strength)

wep:crit.:7(50%)
skill using|: Anti-devil bow + blue hank(maxed)
=(equals?)

ok ty. i've always thought that the crit value on weapons determines the degree of the damage multiplier like: crit2= x1.1, crit2=x1.2 and so on.
lol it's the other way around..

crit7+crit35 from last devil bow = crit 42
so nearly every twice should will be a critical

Already stated to be 2x the physical damage of the attack.

Critical doubling the damage for a pure STR user; but for hybrid user, it depends on their stats.
