NUKER COMBO

Okay so i was thinking of what masteries i should take up as a sword shield pure int/90% nuker.

Lightining 80
Bicheon 70
??????? 80

Either fire or ice.

If i go ice, i would get good physical buffs and most importantly snow shield.

If i go fire, i get strong nukes and the strongest imbue.

so basically its either more damage or more defense.

but from your expiriences, will i be able to kill pvp wise with the lightning imbue sword skills and light nukes? the ice nukes are way to weak and i feel as if im missing out of the greatness of the fire nukes not to mention the fire imbue.

This was my initial plan:
Get fire light to 80
bicheon to 70
ice to 30.

the ice to 30 gets me 2nd book snow shield which is still better than no snow shield. since i miss out on the full effect of the ice defense i can wear protector/armor, and use castle shield while nuking. at least i still have the fire buff :'( anyones opinions on other strategies or suggestions?

Well I'm not too experienced with nukers but I think light/ice would be the wiser choice for many reasons. First off from what i understand light nukes actually do more damage than fire nukes it's just that fire nukes damage are more constant than lights so you could be very well off with light imbue + light nukes. Secondly for a pure int extra phy def would be critical and snow shield will be critical too since you need everything you can to survive in pvp vs str builds.

so i guess wearing armor wouldnt make up for 70 ice?

Hmm jelly bean i would have to settle for that. i would hate to farm that, and its only really effective for the 80 cap, once 90 cap comes, i would probably de-level ice and go 90/90/90/30 fire light sword ice

Ice>fire imo. Later on, light can basically do whatever fire can minus the 90 mastery levels.

thats true, and i dont think the damage difference will be that significant and the little damage that i do sacrifice would we worth the ice defense
