It shouldn't bug you or them. If you're fasting for religious purposes, you should be doing it out of your own will. If you truly want to see it through, simple temptations would not prove to be an obstacle.
I go to wendys with my friends when im fasting, its pretty hard when your smelling all the food cook and people eating, its even worse, to find some one purposely tempting you.

Glad to hear i'm not the only who does the Ramadan.
And for all people who ask there self why muslims do the Ramadan, it's because you can experience how people without food live their lifes everyday and that you need to be grateful for the food you get and the wealth you have.
Your (nice) life isn't given to anyone, so just be grateful to god
and btw, after the Ramadan is over, it's time for biggest muslim religion party

you cant say real is like how they lifes are , you eat 2 times day anyway what Zinc said ...they maybe dont eat at all some days. and have some experience hmm why for real we can understend it anyway how they have whitout some experience..

well thats not so bad.....neither is the eating thing i hardly eat anything at all so waiting till 7 wouldn't be hard.....but i do drink alot
Same. Usually I don't get home until 6/7+ and don't get to eat before then. However, I don't think fasting helps you become more appreciative. I find it would be much better to simply eat, and spend the time you would spend praying + whining of hunger out there and actually helping those that need help, rather than learning to empathize.
It's ok to say you're not going to eat to learn how they suffer, but a righteous religion would tell you to forget about that and go out there and make their lives better.

i remeber last year a kid was doinf that fasting thing and every now and then we would catch him sneaking cheetos(sp?) behind a dumpster xD
