Lightning imbue is allright, as long as you have fire buffs (for physical attack and magical defense)

Also, Demon arrow (own AR increase) + light imbue (enemy parry ratio decrease) + Hawk + Passive = amazingly high, constant crits.

There are people who oppose the lightning imbue, but I personally love it :)

im a hybrid level 64 archer and i don't use fire because everyone think fire is the shit fire is strong and the fire book got lot of cool skill
but i have own archer level 67 with my light and also i was thinking of making another archer too
pure str+light only 2 books why light?
because we need the speed thas about it when you pure str u don't need the ice def because u got alot and you don't need fire because u will get garment set. so i say do it.

I tried it, don't waste your time because it does lower damage than fire.

I'm hybrid. Normally the difference should be felt more with me then with you, but thing is, it appears to me they hit exactly the same, so that's why I chose light.

EDIT: and apart from that, the burn isn't that appealing to me anyway 8)

Imbues are magical damage, the only difference is how much damage each imbue does. However, what I noticed is that fire's damage seem to be much more consistent than lightning. If were to be equal to fire, no doubt that everyone should take on lightning for the transfers.

Yeah lightening can be good for a bowman because it will add more damage to the enemy. It also is the best sounding imbue :D.
