So I always hear str people saying that imbue damages are weak for str users.
But then I always hear people saying that you should get fire becuase it does more damage than ice.
So I'm kind of confused, if imbues do not help that much, why is everyone always talking shit ice which has some obvious advantages in pvp, regardless of whether fire is stronger or not.
*note I am not a str build so I sound noob abou this *
Oh and please don't reply unless you are str yourself. Well you can reply, but don't say what is and isn't. I don't need some who spent acouple minutes reading some crap that think he knows all to come here post some bullshit.

who wouldnt get a imbue? it helps with every weapon. fire is meant to help STR users because of its burn ability which causes more damg. Ice is very strong if used correctly even with the auto pill. lightning i think is stronger than fire because of its parry ability. it doesnt sound useful in the beginning but i think that it could be one of the strongest things in the game
well, imbue DOES add a nice little chunk of damage, even for pure str. i NEVER do anything un-imbued. even though i use ice, which is the weakest of the three, i still get a decent damage boost.
but you are right, the damage difference between ice and fire is much lower with full str than with int or hybrid. that's why i chose ice, well, one of the reasons anyway.

hmm i chose fire because 1: i nver used it b4. and 2nd: i like the burn. i also tried a cold bow pure str, but it was relly slow at killing. is there a way to tell how much imbue dmg i am losing if i have 98% phys balance? but ice really helped, esepecialy for bow. im not sure about this but does your str or int affect how much burn dmg is inflicted?

Most go fire because that's what people tell them to do, and those people only know because people told them what to do.
Personally I use a fire imbue for SP reasons. I need to get fire for the physical buffs anyways. This way I can lag my lightning skills behind a healthy bunch of levels to save on SP without paying big for it.

The higher the lvl of the imbue is the most pill you need to use to cure the status and since ice is one of the most disturbing and bother skill why? because it takes various pill to remove the effect can cancel skill/nukes and slow down even after cured with the pill
but well fire is the strongest imbue in phy damage

well I just train fire for buffs, and ice for imbue and moves...works fine for me as a pure str bow
