Crits wear down Durability more?

So, at level 18 I was using a crit 2 glaive, and I decided to try getting one with a higher crit to do the tiger quests with. I bought a crit 9. The crits are definitely helping, but it seems like my weapon's durability is wearing down faster. Does anyone else notice this?

maybe cuz u crit so much more u kill more and faster , thus your weapon breaking faster :roll:

That logic doesn't make any sense. You'd be fighting more monsters, yes, but then the number of attacks would be the same, with the number of criticals increased. By your logic, it's the number of monsters, not the number of attacks, that determines how much Durability goes down.

It could be that you just have less durability on the glavie with the crit 9, check them and see

I'm not saying that the durability is lower- i'm saying it went down faster. As in, it's not like it was 43/56 compared to 43/60, it was like 42/56 vs 46/56 in the same amount of time.

maybe welll......time flies when u beat alot of monster u lose counts time flew by u hit more killing monsters slower make ur weapon seem like hardly breakable

Durability is completely random. Sometimes it takes 5 minutes to go down 2 ponits. Sometimes I will be on 1/XX durability for what seems like hours. It's all a matter of luck.

sometimes sure doesnt feel that way though.. weird how the tigers and scorpions rip up my gear but red eyed ghosts ands tuff dont do much to durability :X

because red eyes ghosts do mag damage whereas tigers and scorpions only do phy. damage perhaps....
