LVL 50, low level weak skills, almost no SP. Farm at 52?

Hi all,

I'm trying to decide when and where to start farming. I'm currently lvl 50 pure str blader with about lvl 32-36 light and fire skills. Bisheon is lvl 50, but the books are about lvl 42. I had planned opening my zero gap to a 9 gap (using curst heart potions) once I hit lvl 52 and can use my SOS blade.

One problem with that is I won't have the lvl 51 bisheon combos. I currently don't have much SP, maybe 700 at best. Is 52 a good level for a blader to farm? Should I try to get to lvl 57 or 60 first? I can see the advantage of getting to 60 because then I'll have the lvl 51 combos and can more easily farm penons. I just don't know what I should do.

It's painfully slow leveling as a blader as it is, especially considering I only put in about 5 hours a week at best. Any suggestions?

From what i know, farming is better if you have the lvl51 combo's. Farming at lvl52 is possible though.

Either way, farming is going to be hard with the limited amount of time I have to play each week. According to an SP calculator, I need about 415,000 SP to get from where I am now to lvl 80 fully farmed.

I've been zero gapping since about lvl 44 so I haven't been collecting much SP.

Well bladers are the slowest lvlers, so you got a tough job there.

Good luck to you, and yeah, i know 0 gapping is tempting but you have to farm at one point or else your skills are too far behind.

Well I was only zero gapping so I could hit lvl 52 faster. I guess I could open my gap to a 3 or something and level to 57 or 60 before farming. I just don't know when the best time is for me to farm.

its even more painful and slow to farm/gap after lvl 65 regardless of build. lvl 77 on a 6 gap w/o gt = .01% every 5-6 kills. :s

since ur wearing garm now ishades are pretty nice.

Like you, I'm a Pure Str Fire Blade with light. I'm at 48 now and I've kept a 3-4-5 gap the whole way. I stopped Light at 40 but Fire and Bicheon are fully farmed to 45. I've got 4k sp but won't need a whole lot between 48-52.

You may be getting into a situation where you are actually leveling slower because although you are zero-gapping (maxing your xp), your kill rate is slow because your skills are so weak. I've been 3 and now 2-skilling shades since level 43 and the kill rate is much better than penons, yetis, spiders, etc.

As I haven't done it yet, I can't give you any advice on farming in the 50's. That being said, I like just leveling with a 3-4-5 gap and haven't had any problem with SP or kill rate.

No, just 0 gap to 80, unless you're pure str...if pure str, then farm at 52-54 at penons - penon warriors.

Then, farm again at 60 at yetis, and at 65 at power earth ghosts...
and then go to 80.

if blader, just farm at warriors. No one is ever there, and keep using multi hit attacks.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I guess at this point I don't have much choice except to continue leveling at a 0 gap until 52. It'd be a waste of SP to delevel bisheon a few levels to get a little more SP between 50 and 52. So I figure the sooner I get there, the sooner I can drop to a 9 and try farming pennon warriors like some have suggested.

If the pennon warriors don't work out because of my weak skills, I'll go with shades for a while. I can kill them fairly quickly. I'm currently on mujigis just trying to get to 51 or 52.

I'll share my experience with you here. I am lv 52 pure STR bow with a sos+3 bow. The bow is decent, yet I kill penons at the rate of a blader. You will do it even slower wtih a sos blade. Ishades are great for bowers but terrible for bladers. There's no way to lure them is, such as not to move so much. Ishades/Hashades are OUT of the question for a blade.

For example, I get roughly 210 SXP from a hashade no silk. From mujigi/ujigi I get 190'ish, but I 1-shot them with the strong bow.

You might just Evil cut + 5-hit combo the mujigis or maybe evil cut + 4 hit + smashing. I don't know.

Anyways, good luck with your farm.

My bro farmed at 52 at penons, used to farm 1.5-1.8k sp with pet and sp ticket, he had sos blade +3 ^^

EDIT: was period before euro update and period w/o goldbots so no powerlvlers and goldbots, so good period at fighers now is SO crowded

lolz....level 50 blader, either ask ppl pwer lvl you(for sp farming) or replay a new int char. i play my blader until 76, so tired to continue....boring char to play.

I see what you're saying about bladers and the ishades/hashades since the shades can't move. I think I do pretty good with the shades though. I often find mobs of about 5-10 of them within a few feet of each other (around the path east of the ice), so my wolf and I kill those groups pretty quickly while the nukers and bowmen stick to the path itself.

Not a bad idea. At that point I think they'd be either green or white to me. I already kill them quickly, so it'd be even easier with a 52+5 sos blade. Only problem is, most of the high-spawn-rate mujigi area is a bit narrow and filled with botting nukers/bowmen.

Yes, I can kill a yeti, but it burns a lot of pots, and takes too long to just kill one yeti. Not a good solution for farming.

Most parts of the ice I guess, but I've heard from some that there's usually no one around penon warriors, whereas there's tons around the penon fighters because they're non aggro.

So far from people's suggestions, and considering my low level skills and buffs, I think I might stick with mujigis to farm at 52. I'll try out the other mobs to compare SP rates though. Always good to get more suggestions though

I myself have a fire full str blader.. I have fmarmed with high gaps (6-7-8) at lvls from new sos shield and weapon... but in lvl 38 I have buyed a som +5 lvl 42 shield and have fmarmed with gap 9 in lvl 42 a lot...

I am happy now, lvl 59 and 4 mastery in lvl 55 with all skills that i need... Thinking of fmarming again at lvl 64 with gap 9... I guess you should to this, get to lvl 55, then go 1,2,.... until 9 gap in lvl 64 and farm a little there with a new blade...

Good suggestion, but if I'm going to get a 9 gap, I'll do it with skill reallocation potions. I'd hate to have to grind through 9 levels just to get a 9 gap.

From blader to blader

get to 52 and leave ure skills at 51 with sos blade you going to love the penons just lvl and get all ure skills to 51 by the time you hit 58~60 u should have maxed em all and have left some then either farm 10-20k sp or just a small amount and leave gap

EDIT::: What I would suggest you, is to farm for Bicheon up to your lvl Fire atleast for 3-4 lvls under ure lvl ( im 68 and mine is 57... ) and lighting till 52 you get all the important skills you need for leveling and pvping, unless you are going to be super duper in pvp you should be fine... dont blame me for my english xD
