Anyone play SRO since the beginning?

So, i started playing sro a week or so after xian came out and started playing on aege when it came out.

Back when the cap was 60, no item mall, cape murdering, 0 to almost no botters, pretty good community (alot of english speakers), TS servers, classic uruchi kills..

the list goes forever...

anyone else play way back then?

Installed sro at like EARLY December 05 .. didn't like it much. Then January 10th? when Troy opened I started officially.

Playing since September 2005, a month orso after beta opened on Xian. And still on Xian today.

I started about 2 weeks to a month after xian opened, then moved to troy when it opened, played there for along time, then moved to odin when it opened.

Played beta and started on Xian, but my computer blew up and I had to quit for a bunch of months until I got a new one.

I played during alpha on the "Global Server" in like October 05. Then I quit for a week when they wiped my facking character in November. I remember everybody bitching about it hehe... Especially because Close Beta would start like 2 or 3 days later. Then like halfway into the month they closed 1st Close Beta to open 2nd Close Beta, and this time everybody was once again worrying about loosing their chars lol. [They didn't get wiped, but we got one sweet event, like 200% gold drop.] Xian also got pwned during 2nd Close Beta with like a week rollback, but that was also followed with one hell of an event... [like 200% xp, sp, gold, and drops.] And then they shut down 2nd sometime in early January 06. They then opened 3rd Close Beta at the end of January, and I don't know when they started calling it Open Beta cuz I don't think we had a break for that.

Eh... any good memories? The weird korean festival we had [only been implemented as an event once in iSRO], the first xmas event, the sos wipe [I lost the only sos I dropped, but bought a 16 som bow the day after the wipe for 200k lol], and other then that... the rest is just history?

I started playing right when Auto Potion got set in because I remember everyone yelling "CHEATER YOUR USING AUTO POTS" when they were pvping and jobbing

"3rd closed beta" was Open beta.. and it was before the end of January.

I remember all the SoSun +8's

old memories, and i know every single one of the people involved in those times

ya i remember the xmas event, i still got my old santa shit.. (well just 1 set, i sold all the rest for around 3 mil each :twisted:

. Those days sro was soooo much better. LEss lag, less bots, more ppl around ur lvl, no 1 star poppers, there was snow and rain and wind effects,

Started in Xian in November 06 with my friend then we moved to Troy when it opened and I've been on Troy ever since then until Mars opened. Currently playing in Mars but I'll return to Troy someday. :twisted:
