what does Legit mean?

Legit.... can anyone give me a plain explenation for this word?...
and how to become one

legit = non-botting, non-hacking, non-scamming, non-gold buying, and non-glitch/bug exploiting. to be legit means to abide by all of these, and to a lesser extent hating those that do.

i got p-lvled by legit players who buy silk every month but dont bot....
i think its just a player who dont bot, scam, hack.

2nd that motion, for the first time tonight i bought silk, kinda to force myself to limit playing 1 charector, and becuase i don't play as much as some people but would like to be a decent lvl, it helps the company that hates you so continue to make you hate them. It helps keep the game going, so why do you people complain about silk, is having a bunny so bad? or being able to grind a lvl or 2 in a few hours, with out having to go out of your mind because you can't get a decent party, or are in china with a major bot infestation.

its not cheating, it makes your game free, so deal with it. Only reason you don't like silk buying is because you can't buy. For a wizzard a bunny is a god send, i mean i can blast away now with out having to stop to pick stuff up, onlything slowing me down is switching to hard and using mana cycle, and refreshing noise and marching movment. I've never though of it as cheating, its basicly buying a subcription to the game, would you call every single person who plays WoW unlegit for paying for it, no (yes, because they play WoW, but thats not the point)

now yes botting is way unlegit and makes the game suck at times

infact going solo i gain 1 lvl on creatures 6 lvls higher in about 80 minutes, and that was with a gap (23 to 24) then i returned to europe to get my new staff, join a half party, just me another wizzard i know, then a 3rd wizzard joined, we had like 20 minutes since server inspection, and i got 40% in that time, via killing party closiers and punishers. They made the game unbearible slow to lvl to encourage people to buy silk, but hey its a free game, and getting in a party before was faster then solo, but now its actually noticiable faster.

if there is something wrong with being able to lvl, without getting completely bored, then fine i'm not legit because i help make the game free.

There is no such things as scamming, there's just people making stupid deals (i.e. clicking approve to a trade before verifying that what's being traded...is what's being traded). Supposedly in cSRO or tSRO, one of the other sro versions, JM sells gold itself for players.

Buying silk, though it can get your account banned (as other posts have said), is still valid for being considered legit.

There's also those that claim to be legit...that are just saying it for show...such as many people on certain forums.....

so at the very least buying silk to you is ok, as long as you don't buy order scrolls, or permium, since the others only affect yourself but order scroll give you extra damage and defense and so does premium, and the bird and wolf are equal the gray wolf, just look different, but my bunny is bad because it picks up whatever it sees.

Still joymax intentionally put it in the game, would you consider a guild using mercs on a trade run cheating? or potions?

if this were korean silkroad, i hear they can buy silk items with in game gold, so that would be more fair? or would it still be cheating?

scamming is usually an abuse of people stupidity and greed this cant be considered as a way to recognize if someone is legit or not, i consider anything like that as sad and lame but most of the people i know who got scammed kinda deserved it in the end, sometimes it seems it is the only way some people will finally learn about their mistakes. hard way to learn it but sometimes its the only way. i don't encourage doing it but i don`t consider it as not legit.

bug abuse is another hard discussion why is someone not legit if he takes an advantage over his knowledge on the game? if he knows a bug why cant he use it joymax is there if those bugs are bad enough to fix it.

Technically, but no one ever gets banned for actually BUYING. Gold bots get banned for being...bots. Nothing more.

People who advertise that they are buying gold ON THE OFFICIAL FORUMS get banned...supposedly. But...that's it.

people do get banned for it, i know couple who had 10days bans and even the 100years ban due to gold buying.
