yet again, ill be taking a break from sro. i went to start up my laptop today--my main computer, with which i do everything, including sro--and lo and behold, theres a big blue screen staring back at me.
so now ive gotta send it in to get fixed and whatnot. soo ill be back in about 30 business days -_-

My lappy died and now i'm using my bf's! Cant even play sro on this one!
yea the hp guys on the phone--who speak like no english--had me run some test. my hard drive fails at life. so they were gonna send me a new one and i'd just send the old one back, but theres a problem with where the power cord plugs in. so im sending it in and theyre gonna fix that too. it wouldve only taken a few days or somethin but since its gotta go to them, get fixed, then come back, itll be a while.
mustve made a typo. shouldnt take 30 days. probably like 2 weeks. which is about the amout of time it wouldve taken me to finish farming -_-
but ill have a few friends grindin off my ticket while im gone cus they rock.
but the worst part is i didnt even get to throw a going away party this time
HP's suck. they come preloaded with all that bullshit software. i bought my fiance a mack daddy hp laptop with media center and it ran like shit, so i reformatted the hd and loaded xp pro on it. it works beautifully now. about your power issue, i don't know what model you have but the power cords tend to break right at the tip if you bend them too much. i had to take hers apart and resolder hers twice (new power cords cost $75 from HP and $140 from Best Lie...i mean Buy), but you can find brand new ones on ebay for 15 bucks, so i just ordered 2. Good luck, if your power issue is internal, it might have farked up the motherboard (since that is where it attaches) and that gets into the big $$$$$$$$$$!
