Where I have been.
Well, two weeks ago, I found out that the persons I were living with didn't need to be driving me into work anymore. I live out in the country, way too far to be walking to work. So, for the last week I had been scrambling to get a new apartment.
Been learning many life lessons such as:
1) Don't trust when someone says "Hydro has been taken care of". Getting taken care is not allowing the hydro be in status of Disconnected, and leaving a 550.00 bill for the next person.
2) Regardless of how hard it is, make sure you have emergency money. Having only 300.00 for first and last months rent was NOT fun.
3) You can always count on your friends, and you will know who your friends are. My co-worker last night was so nice..she brought me a POT! Squee! I can make SOUP!!
4) Running around town with your head cut off equals body crashing...
5) When getting help, and having to talk to people, make sure you have Id. Having your Blockbuster card is NOT identification, and no matter how much you show your air miles card, it is not ID. (Thank bloody god, I had my work badge...)
6) Being nice is good, but letting people walk all over you, because you are too nice sucks. Hence why I am still without internet. Nice me, let my former roomate use the modem until my internet was hooked up yesterday. I still don't have it, however I have 25 more hours into FFXII!
So that is what my last two weeks have been like. Am I dead yet?
So..if anyone was curious...
