but ill go with the glavie

definatly glaive first, cuz it's gonna cost too much to get a shield with sword

Shields are pretty cheap...

Go Blade. It's more fun that Glavie, and I've played both.

I have a blader lv 45 on xian and lv 54 glavier on oasis , blade is about 10 times more fun to play , lvls so ..... slow. I was also very frustrated that it took me 10 seconds to kill a mob while the glavier kills the mob in 2-3 hits

Here's the thing...

It's fun do see your blader do flips and cool attacks but it takes it so long to kill something. IMO the only way to decently level is to buy SoS blades all through the development.

Personally I like leveling quick, reason for my recent nuker. However, I'm looking to be able to participate more in PvP and thus I made a glaive str char.

What important is to pick one that suits you. If you don't like your char you will give up and ultimately restart.
