I don't really like how you only include a few members (well of course you had no choice, I mean you can't add 2000 avatars)

because many people who arent on there will ask for their avatar to be put up

others may feel bad because it could suggest that the people on the timeline are "special" or simply "better" because they comment more or are more active here at SRF

Not trying to make fun of you, just pointing some stuff out

Well technically, the simple fact that it's one big image wouldn't stop avatars from being linked. That's what Image Maps are for.

Although I don't know if forum tags would support them or not.

Not that profile linking is necessary, but unless you know who owns the avatar (and people do copy them) you can't really tell on our time line who's who.

Yeah, I put that clause in there mostly for you. The spot you were looking at was actually D2U's, because it was underneath Zypher. Now that you posted here D2U looses the spot and that avatar is now above Zypher's as you registered before him.

No, that just means you are lazy/I've given up on trusting people to keep me informed.
