Etiquette and Giants
Etiquette and Giants
I'm currently spending most of my time decimating Selene's Lions, mainly due to the high weapon Elixir drop rate I've been getting. I can take on the giants no problem, it just takes me a minute or two to drop them. No one really spends any time where I'm at, but it really gets to me when someone will come in, watch me get the giant down to almost nothing, then try to get the last shot in. Luckily I've not lost anything but gold and Universal Pills, but still...
Am I justified in my anger at being kill stealed? Or is the etiquette different when giants are concerned?

Last shot don't matter, it depends on damage done. As long as you do the most damage you get the drops.
For Selene's lions best place is one of the corner areas either in the rear of the temple or outside of it. Few go into the areas where few other players are, they are afaid to die with no one around to read their "RES PLS" spam.
I stopped playing SRO for over 2 years. I referred to it as KSRO, and it had nothing to do with Korean language. KS-ro.

I kinda figured as much about the damage done. The one time I lost my drops was when a wizard, apparently much higher a level than I came in at the halfway mark and two-shot killed it. Luckily nothing of value was lost.
I tend to stay on the left corner area, and go into the Temple proper when I'm feeling saucy. When I'm giant-hunting, I suppose I'll just have a 'I don't require your help. Please find your own giant to kill' message at the ready.

Gives you incentive to level up so you can be on the ksing end rather than on the receiving end.

I PK KSers or KS them back. I enjoy NOT KSing people, I really enjoy PKing and KSing KSers.
Since we're in the same server

80-90% of the time, they are just trying to get exp/drops without the giant hitting them. I leave, giant aggros and kills them.
Yep, same. Funny thing is when I am playing my wizard and another wizard comes along and berserks in order to have a chance to KS. That was my last PK scenario.
The last few wizards that attempted to KS my low level nuker experienced me running past them and the giant whacking them in to the dirt. Fun fun fun.
