just installed 3d max 9 after i wiped my comp first time using this version thankfully not so different from 8 anyways this is what im christianing it with

my template

im not importing it and extruding it im using my judgement to model it i wanna try add my own personal touchs and thats easier as you make it

another, i spent today thinking of how best to do the engines not quite finished but enough to leave until the end well ok maybe not il finish them off its just a minor front end shape change but thats it

id rather maya or max

all i know is 3d max and maya are 2 of the top programs theres also others but id rather just stick with max i know its systems how it works and theres a lot you can do it in, i also have the new autocad i can moddel with a lot of detail in that but not so much for animating

maya is more for hardcore things such as movies and games, then again im studing games development :roll:
