Pure Int s/s Help.

Ok well im really confuse with the new skills, specially ice...

Im a s/s Pure int and lvl74 and i was planing on having
80bicheon
60heus
80light
80fire

but now with the hole snow shield idk what i should do..

this is a suggestion ive heard

80-B
80-ICE
60-light
80 fire

^^ with that they told me that you would only lose 3%dmg having light at 60
and have a better defence and with 3 Fire nukes will be a good build
hard to kill and would do a nice dmg too..

and ive seen here that fire is useless now
that you could have
80-B
80ice
80linght
0 fire

but youll hit less with it , is what they told me...

so now im all confused cuz when 90cap come i would have to delevel a mastery to have 10 free..

so can some Pure Int S/s give me some advice on what to do

This is pretty gud and im using light as my main imbue .... and when 90 comes... fire goes to 30 ... tatz it.

I really don't see the point of this one. What's the use of 60 fire? If you want fire...max it...

If you need to have on of them at 60, my suggestion is cold. You'll have 40% mp absorbtion, that combined with a shield should be enough. As for me, I'm just loosing the whole fire and make it:

80 bicheon
80 lightning
80 cold
and 60 left for future caps...(or take force up to 60...but that would only be for the vital spot...)

But this ain't gonna be the strongest at this cap...

but i guess ill try to lower fire and heuskal

I guess so

Currently my guess is that archers are the one to be at the 90 cap, but with the mana shield I think a pure int s/s light/cold will also wreck havoc...But no one knows, so the only thing to do is try it out...

Vital spot is only worth to take it if you lvl it to 70 at this cap. Thats when you can get vital spot mind (lowering mag def) which is more useful for int builds.

well the way i figured it out so far looking at the best things for INT from a given tree:
=>
80 bicheon (for def weapon skills)
80 cold (for phy def and snow shield serie)

then you got some choices:
- either plan your build for 80 cap the best you can and when 90 cap comes worrie about your mastery lvl's again then:

80fire (insane mag def, good phy att=>strong KD and stabs,
60light(mag att, speed, parry ratio=>the buffs don't get much better from 60-80 so might as well leave it at 60)


- or take in account that the cap will be raised to 90
80 light (cause the bad increase from 60-80 will prob be compensated after 80 and you can't put light on 30@90 cap)
60 fire

cause at 90 I really only see one option so far:
90 bicheon
90 cold
90 light
30 fire


edit: dannyz build looks good too though.. with some prot or armor that might work too, but i figured i'd stay garms with mine.. see how i do.

I dont know when if ever the fire tree's shield buff for status immunity will be fixed. At 8 degree you can have a max of 80%(20% from each piece) from your accessorys and the shield needs to be high enough to cover the last 20% and higher if your accessorys arn't 100% each. With the snow shield, I have seen quite a few more people using ice imbue and then switch to lighting if the person they are fighting is immune. by lowering fire you might lose the ability to become immune to ice and other status's like zombie for grinding. so I dunno if you want to get rid of fire just yet.

As for ice being 80, what is the phy defense buff range? If you only use the snow shield up to 40% its hardly worth taking the rest of the tree if you are only adding like 50 points(unsure of accuracy of that number) extra phy defense right?

Though people adding ice to 80 for the passive, a low snow shield and phy buff is more skills then those that take heaskul to 80 just for the hp increase. lol

Light Nukes and Shouts, sword knockdown and stabs + shield passive, etc... Ice for def buffs and passive with mana shield at 40% for pvp or 50% for pve o_O

This build works wonders for me, its not like you need 2 types of nukes... Lightning has been enough for me, and my 65 on Odin rules in pvp

Fire is utter crap- Spear passive is 1000 or so more hp, with mana shield its amazing!! xD

Well, my advice...pure ints get owned hard...hybrid is the way to go if you want to live long enough to kill a str glaiver.

At lvl 80 my build goes:
80bich
80light
80fire
60cold

at 90 its going to be:
90bich
90light
90ice
30heuk or fire

The reason for 60 cold, is because ATM, its more than enough to tank a sun glaive+7 with 40% snow shield and phy def buff + passive(as long as your hyrbid). The only problem, is i chose 80 fire at 80 to pwn everyone with massive dmg..but i gotta delvl it at 90. A small price for amazing dmg i do now. As an inter, lightning should be gaurenteed as your max mastery because it has all the important buffs for you, and nuke + lion shout.

At lvl 90, ice is really gona shine because of a MASSIVE def increase, where at 80, its only decent increase for 20 lvls....which i prefer a lot more dmg over a few more phy def points.

Staying pure int or going hybrid is up to you, but i can offer you great advice for hybrid s/s nuker.

Guys, what is the reason of keeping bicheon if ur a pure
int nuker? I'm thinking of change my build for the 80 cap
according to the following:

80: Light
80: Fire
70: Bicheon
70: Heuksal

=>

80: Light
80: Fire
70: Heuk
70: Ice

At 90 probably delevel Heuk and ice a bit... Light and Fire is a must for a nuker!

Well with bicheon you get more def kd-stabs-+blocking+ironshield and with snow shield combine the nuker is gona be hard to beat and im pure and im not going for hybrid so no thx to that..

but im no farmed yet so just gona farm at 80 then if 90 comes ill have the sp to max everything
