How do you people make money???

I am having alot of trouble making money in sro. I see people selling stuff for ridiculous amounts of money 50mill+ I wonder how is it they can afford something like that. Is it luck? Is it expierience? When people tell me they have 200+ mill im shocked!! The most cash i ever had was a little more than 1 mill. Im lvl 31 now and im down to 500k. Any tips from you higher and more expierienced people how to make some money?

Im a lvl 31 pure str rogue.

Buy cheap sox and sell for more, element drops, stones, many different ways.

Go kill punishers, they drop a lil something called Symble of Obediance. 6 wind 4 each. Wind 4 is 2k each or sometimes more..on oasis at least. These have a really nice drop rate too. Be sure to only kill punishers as closiers will not drop them. I grinded for a whole day and made 8 mil after stalling over night. It gets boring as hell but is definetly worth it. oops gave away my secret...

you can always make money selling elements. people will always need them.

my best way of making money is still reselling. you just need a lot of patience
and a bit of luck. for example, i once bought a +5 lvl 42 blade in a stall for
275k and sold it for a couple of mil. the day after, i didnt buy/sell anything.
its just a matter of knowing when to buy and sell i think..

if u have 1M u cab be rich, but u will stop lvl up for short to stay in the town and try to find a sos weapon 4D for that 1M and sell it for 2M.
u can get money from element .
"element" is the most important source of money in SRO.
botter will help u much to collect the materials and convert it into element
when i was lvl 21--24 i was hunting "Hyungno Ghost" alot of botters hunting the same mob and never grap the matrials drops i collect a big amount of materials which were converned into about 3K wind 2 i sold it easy for 6M.
by 6M start making the money .
u must know the market very well "this is the secret"
in addition to stall for long time.

im now lvl 34 and have 5M and some items and elemnt will sell it for 50M

i think that all the sources of money in SRO

Ha! grinding doesnt seem to help me! I only get 1 equpment drop every 4 hours or so. THis past 4 days i lost litterally 4.5million in potions, just to lvl up to 44. :banghead:

really? go to greens! i'm lvl 69 and i get about 1-2 drops every 3 hours. Also, if u ever find a 8D wep thats cheap ( 1 mil or less) buy it and destroyer rondo it. I've destroyed 10+ weps and all but 2 weps gave me atleast one stone, one gave me 3 =P

i wanna laugh, theres no way in hell people will make 50 mill from sellin high and buyin low, yes there are ways to get money and some good ways but no way in hell your gonna wear full sun armor with sun weapon at cap if you follow the legit way, BUY GOLD its only 40-50$ depends on the site.

I usually have enough money for what I need (pots, pills, jewelry, armor and such things), but I'm usually in trouble when I wanna buy a SoX weapon. Here are some of my ideas

1;Buy cheap, sell for more: it consumes much time but it might work if you're patient. Go around and buy the things that are obviously cheap and then if you have some - sell them for more! However, I think that it works MUCH worse since the item search stuff's out, but give it a try if you wanna. (As I see it weapon elixirs are cheaper in DW than anywhere else...)

2;Elements: Simply collect the alchemy materials and rondo them. Collect the elements. Now, it has two advantages. First, you can add blue on your items with the appropiate tablets/stones. Second, you can sell the elements you have a lot from. It'll give you a decent amount of money.

3;Trade: I'd recommend to do it between JG and DW, because it has lower lvl mobs than CN-SK and is a bit shorter way IMHO. I usually earn 150k profit per route.

4; Stalling: You definetly don't have to stall every stuff, but the good ones. Once I had a +4 male armor trousers drop @ bandit archers and got a nice amount of cash!

TBH: offer stuffs for as much as you dare for!

I've been playing SRO for 1 month and 2 weeks now and I'm at lvl46 Pure Str Bower at Persia... I started with nothing, my friends are also playing with me and they started 1-2 weeks ahead of me.. I never asked for them to give me help either coz I know money is hard to get at their lvls way back then... But now I don't have any problem making gold, I just got a looter pet from the item mall and everything was so easy then.. Stack up alchemy items, when your about to change your leveling spot rondo them then store all your elements until you got the time to STALL them, that includes the EQUIPMENTS you got from training, you can sell them for twice the NPCs price...

Buying & Selling of items is a very good moneymaker too, specially when you already got some millions on your stash.. I remember buying 4 parts of 7D SOS armors and 1 6D SOS armor for only 7m on our server and just after 20mins. of STALLING someone bought them for TWICE the price... Bought them for 7m and sold them for 14m.. I got 7m profit in less than 30mins.

Making Magic/Attribute Stones is another thing.. You can make them from the Tablets that you pick up from training... Tablets + 4 types of different elements = Magic/Attribute Stone.. You can sell them depending on the price of the elements you used and the type of stone they are.. As I know,
Str, Int, Stamina, Magic, Strikes, Master, Discipline, Challenge, Courage, Philosophy and Focus are some of the valuable stones you can make...

I had no problem with gold at all, since I'm lvl24 up to present I managed to buy SOS equips for my char (Bows & Garment Sets)... I hope this simple advice of mine may help you man..

also, its worth buying a squirell/pig etc

i make money alot faster, because now i can just run from mob to mob, without wasting time picking up things. and its always nice to open up your squirells inventory and see something cool in there

yea im working towards getting a squirrel. making money off of this site.. just need 2 more dollars. http://www.gangstergreed.com?ref=21360 all i do is do a few surveys. Well thanks alot for these suggestions the punishers work best for me ive made about 2 mill so far...

Just get elements, but try to get elements doing alchemy with items AND DESTROYER RONDO, i get easily 50 wind 4 (100K) with only 2 items.
How can i get items?.. just get into a full share party and be quite lucky

DONT use destroyer rondo in weapons, that kind of items are so expensive and well, npc usually gives 100K+ when u start to sell 4D-5D+ weapons.
Save tabs, more if the tab is str,int,hp,mp. Tabs is between 30-50K and stones gets easyli 100K+, depends % of possibility
What more, save money and all kind of elixirs, always will be any crazy that will try to do her earrings +9, and will send a global. ALWAYS READ GLOBALS!! and read the chat.

all the other ways people have posted are good

another way to earn extra money is to be hunter and go help out on high lvl trades

at the end of the week, go check out the hunter guild and you can collect your earnings from him

I made 1.5 mil this past week from doing hunter =P

There is one more way to add to all of the previous ideas.

Purposely keep your gap to a minimum (0 if possible) then race through the levels getting to some high level as quickly as you can with the most basic stuff you find along the way. Once there (level 60-64+ or so) farm items from mobs (that is, fight greens or even blues) with some simple nukes that kill with one hit. The mobs will drop lots of useless stuff (degree 7 or 6 or even 5). Sell the stuff to the NPCs. Typical Degree 7 items get from 100k to 230k. Find any with good blues and/or pluses, and you can stall them for a lot more.

Now, once you have a decent amount of money, say 10-20 million, start a new character. There is simply no way that 10 or even 20 million is going to help you get SOSun items with your main character at lvl 60+.

With the multi-million stake however, your next character can buy SOStar pretty much all the way through the levels. The next character, you might be able to afford Seal of Moon.
