What method do you use to take a s/s.?

By using the print scr button i have about a second of lag, but i believe that is for the computer to render the picture taken. Though i remember when i was using xfire to take screenshots i use to lag a bit, though not enough to die.

Hope it helps.

I don't really lag, but the game kinda freezes for a sec on the frame I got the ss of.

I guess you can call it lag but it goes right back to normal a second after.

I could say it depends on what place you are taking picture of it...
like if ur in a crowded place many ppl and mobs , and your doing multiple skills their is a posibility that you could lag more than a sec.

rather than having a simple place where non-agresive mobs rome the place brainlessly in to the unknown beyond(like in front of you). it would be like no lag or just a milisec. of it.

:)

The first screenshot I take usually lags me for about 2-3 seconds. Each screenshot after that only lags about half a second. Depends on computer specs.

Back when my RAM was low it took a while to take screenshots, but my current computer with 1GB RAM has no problems. The only lag I get is the first time I start recording something on Fraps.

If your having problems taking screenshots with the in game system. The main reason will probably be is because when the screenshot is taken is has to be compressed into a jpg image. When I take screenshots, I use Fraps and take them in BMP mode, as this is uncompressed there is very little delay, and you should have much less 'lag' while taking them, I basically have none while taking them. The free version of fraps takes screenshots in BMP i believe, so you can start off with that :)

Yup, also for the people that lag when someone leaves a party, just get another 512 mb RAM and you shouldnt lag while taking a screen shot etc etc.

I just lag for the half second after pressing the printscreen button.. Think that lag is meant to be there so, maybe that's it. ALWAYS been there for every full 3D game i've played.
