Rogue Skill: Poison Field

Anyone use the rogue skill "Poison Field"? Is it worth getting? What the hell does it do? Thanks in advance.

i'm in doubt to about it. Since it can be pilled away i don't think it's a good thing for pvp

Well I actually saw this skill used against a pandoras box in one of the other versions of SRO and it worked pretty well. While you focus on one mob all the others are getting damaged so it means you can pick them off that bit easier when you get to them... imo its worth getting after all it cant hurt to get all the skills in the tree can it... be prepared for every situation

I'd say skip poison field and wait till you can get Poison trap that one lasts for 30seconds i have it on lv3 and with my dagger passive it does 354 poison damage and lasts for a pretty long while, it even takes highlevels 2 special pots to get it off.
If your fighting a monster/unique with tons of hp you can poison it and it'll die faster.

Sorry I was talking about the poison trap skill.
Poison field however is equally useless, if not more useless. It lasts for an instant with a radius of 10 meters that poison everything nearby.
But why do u want those skills when you already have the poison imbue..

A O E. Untill lvl 60 IIRC rogue have no AOE attacks at all. And even after there are very few. I will agree so far as to say not to obsess over those skills. But poison trap is quite useful. Think about it like this. Especially when fighting in groups. It induces a really virulent stat ailment. And it keeps recurring for 30 sec. Now imagine you are in a group fighting someone who is not immune to everything. They will spend alot of time trying to pot out of the poison stat all the while not being able to pot off other stats like burn or freeze till poison is gone. And at the very least if you get it off it is just that much more damage dealt. It is not a killer must have skill. But it is not useless either.

i think they should make poison trap and poison cloud more effective by increasing the effect or having it do some other status effect...cause while they're not worthless they're not really good either
