Powerleveling.

Post by Waisha »

Explain it all to me.

How do you do it? (Share pt+low lvl+high lvl?)
Is it considered "legit"?
How efficient is it? Examples pls.
Why didn't people powerlvl before the euro update?

Anything more I need to know?

Thankya.

Well this is legit.
U will b in a Share Party (prefereably XP & Items Share). High LVL + Low LVL who wants to get power lvled.

In a share party, u spawn party monsters.. which is almost equivalent to a giant XP.

There are pros and cons in it based on the levels.
PROS -
If ur low level, u jus get to sit on a horse and get powerleveled. If ur lucky and on a share party (Item and XP share).. which means u get both of it.
If ur High level, break ur head out and keep on killing... not much XP though, but can make gud money.

CONS -
If ur low level, lots of chances u may keep dieing. Ultimately it depends on the place where ur being power leveled and the person who is powerlvling you. Sometimes u may end up spending money (range 100K - 500K, depends on server and person who is powerleveling u).
If ur high level, gotta make sure u lure the mobs faster and low level doesnt get killed.

There are really gud legit players who dosent take money for power levling and has XP & item share parties.... i do this for my guildies :)

Hope this clears up
Cheers,
Truez

I searched the forum for you and found this http://silkroadforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=52503
could be useful to help you understand it, but as you can tell from the comments, people frown upon it. legit that it is

if you want to be plvled when ur still a low lvl u can only go to mobs like 15 or 16 lvl higher than u coz higher than that meaning lest xp..

i did that b4 i was plvled by my other char with a help of a friend we went to bunwang but i'm only getting .25 sp per kill, then we went back to lvl 32 mobs there i'm getting 1 sp per kill and i was lvl 16 that time...

i'm saying that u can only get max exp and sp if u are powerleveling mobs 15-16 lvl higher than you...

When you are getting powerleveled, you will be a share party with high lvls which will be the powerlevelers and low lvls getting powerleveled. It still counts as your legit and if you want it to be efficient then you should go to monsters that are 11 lvls higher than you [people getting powerleveled]. And, I think people powerleveled people when the Euro version didn't come out but not much.

There is a xp/sp penality if you kill monsters more than 11 lvls higher than yours.
So at lvl 1 you should be powerleveled at lvl 12 monster, not higher.

i actually don't like this whole power leveling phenomenon, but, since it's here i would take advantage of it.

Mind you, i really don't get powered leveled after level 26. Also, it gets boring.

You know who i hate that power levels? I hate those high level toons that KS lower level toons so their second account or who ever they're power leveling gets the exp. You dumb shits, your high level enough to go somewhere else, you piece of shits.
