I made a wizard/cleric. I actually like it because when I get bored I (if I'm in a party) can just use that lvl 24 buff (the one with super improvments to defense) and just let everyone else tank. I haven't tried this yet, but you might be able to buff yourself and switch to wizard and basically...tank...at least for 45 seconds.
I need power level of a euro lvl 12 account. 200K per hour (oasis)

Player1:then why you even sell them if there is no water and they cant move??
GM:

ya, what a wizzard needs is more defense, or to not be attacked, either cleric or bard, but for a wizzard i'd recomend bard, use noise, marching, and mana cycle.
Nuke a few things don't get attacked (just watch for champs and giants), run like hell from things when giants do spawn and you aren't brave enough to fight it, and make sure you have like 300 mp switch to bard mana cycle switch back, less potions used and more money in your pocket

A man once said, "Fear is contagious". So then the same must hold true for courage.
The Roar of a Crowd begins with one man.
I'm doing Wizard/Cleric.
Both are at level 36 right now, and I'm at level 39. I can tell you I've died so much less since picking up cleric though. Bless does work when you switch back to staff, and with bless on you're pretty much unkillable by things your level. Only problem is it has a 2 minute cool down, and it only last 45 seconds so you can't really solo party giants (only thing you won't be able to kill in 45 seconds).
Healing Cycle is also really useful. It last 16 seconds which is exactly long enough for a nuke, then the flame thrower skill, then time to switch back to cleric rod and re-cast it. I solo giants all the time that are a my level +/- 1 or 2 levels with no zerk, and no bless. Just healing cycle.
PvP wise cleric is awesome for Wizard survivability. With Bless on I'm able to tank people that usually can 1-2 skill me. Gives me time to get a nuke or 2 off and possibly kill them. Add in the fact that I can use fear and that gives me 55 seconds of being able to nuke. You've also got the earth barrier skill from the earth tree which I usually cast as bless is running out,and you can use healing cycle which will give you another 30 seconds or so. All of that instead of the 5-10 seconds you have before you are one shotted.

Many have and many play them, let's look at the balance here:
You can wear heavy armor to lower the damage you take.
You move slower guaranteeing you can't outrun a Giant.
You use more mana due to heavy armor.
You spend a lot of SP just to wear heavy armor.
You have to farm/gap heavily to keep the Warrior level up to Wizard level so the armor is worth the sacrifice.
....I think that sums up the combo.

So I guess my next question is:
Do they play well (e.g., in PvP/wars?)
