I've been thinking of getting a laptop myself. I wanted to get one with nvidia graphics. A decent one that can play SRO and do regular online browsing and email and such. I have a similar pricing range as the original poster here.

All laptops, unless bought in the penny saver, will be able to handle SRO.

SRO is a joke of a game. I have an 800mhz PC downstairs I used to run SRO on.
