well, taking up dom on his illustrator suggestion, I decided to create a anime drawing on illustrator... well it was the best suggestion ever. This drawing took me 4 hours to complete, and I don't think i've ever done anything this good (in my opinion) in my life. I colored it in, hand drew it with my sketch pad, and then added the clouds in photoshop....
Please leave commeenntts!!! ^_____^
Fixed the ear, fixed nose, fixed mouth - Made the colors more vibrant, enhanced shading, etc. etc. etc.

WOW! That looks simply AMAZING. I've never been a big fan of anime, but that just looks spectacular. It looks real. I mean, it looks better than the same girl in your Sig. I've known people that could draw good anime, but I've never known someone that could actually draw the anime better than the cartoon itself.

Closest one I could find on first two pages of google.
I realize it's a mirrored but you should still move the nose & mouth down an inch, and the right should is a bit high.

okay so maybe its getting a little old to you all but to me im proud of myself, I think i've almost gotten the hang of this pad. The reason i keep drawing the same type portrait over and over again is to see how close i can get to the way I can draw in real life. Its like learning to walk all over again with this pad - so here goes nothing. This is my latest version - I suppose you can call the earlier versions "drafts" from the sketch, to the color, to this one (Which will be my final "portrait" type drawing as i move onto full landscapes and characters)
