Cant Log In!!! Keeps Disconnecting Me!!, ANYONE ELSE?
k...Ii was in the game and suddenly, my game EXITED ITSELF, TWICE within 5 mins..i had to go back to the game over and over. Then on the 3rd time, i could get into the client but i couldnt LOG into the server.
but when i log in it keeps saying server traffic, disconnected from the server..
it keeps doing that..are the servers working fine?

Actually yesterday after the update the Ishades were completely empty. I had never actually run around there before but I've heard horror stories about them, that you can't find a single open flower. I was hard pressed to find a spot with more than one other person in viewing distance, actually. We'll see how long it lasts this time.

90% of people not being able to connect is all the damn AFK stalls, They really need to put some sort of afk timer in this game, like after about 2 hours kick anyone thats not active, these damn stall afk's are all over Don in the troy server, its like 6 out of 10 stalls are afk.
it has taken me over 2 hours to connect today and I am about to give this stupid game up, not worth the headache.

I hate to burst your bubble, but if they had that, how would anyone sell anything. I too hate the inability to log in, but if you eliminate the afk stalls, noone would be able to buy anything.

I can set my stall up and make almost 1mil in less than 2 hours. Look in the Troy server I garuantee there are more afk stalls than on any other server.
This game is here to play not log on set up a stall and go visiting friends or leaving the stall running unattended for hours at a time.
If they kicked the afk's the lag would get cut down alot and the log in would be much easier and faster for every one that is actually here to play.
I play any wheres from 6-12 hours a day. There is no excuss for leaving the game running with out being here.
When I have a stall set up 99% of the time I have a full stall, one item sells another is instantly in its place.
ok maybe not every 2 hours but atleast every 4 hours. or just reset the server every 4 hours, that will take care of all afk's and lag issues.

I have found that the servers (at least Athens) is impossible to login to between the work day hours mostly, 9AM~5PM but usually out of those hours you can login after maybe three tries excluding weekends.
As for the graphics problem, I too noticed it after the recent Journey of Jewels upgrade but it doesn't appear to be anything more than the drawrate being slower than the framerate.
One possible suggestion to this would be to include a sort of self-timer in the stall system that if there is absolutely no activity on the part of the user (ie- chat, interfacing, etc..) then the stall should close and log the user out after a period of maybe two hours after no activity is detected.

im going mad now jus read my recent post.
this is such a big problem. yet the techinal people for silkroad have not tried to solve the problem at all.
all the recent patches jus fix problems and improve gameplay. nothing about accommodating more ppl and increasing server capacity.
its jus plain stupid. why improve the game so much when players cant even log in and play.
people will get friggin pissed and irritated they jus wont bother about playing a game they have to wait 2hrs to log in.
as far as i know, this is the only god damn rpg game, wait, jus game, that i HAVE to wait MORE THAN 30mins jus to log in and PLAY. like wad the hell?
i also find it extremely unfair that very populated and old servers have the same capacity as other newer and less crowded servers.
the capatcity shld be altered to suit the popularity and crowdedness of the server.
basically, silkroad has one of the worst networking problems ever.
i think u might whine at me, telling me if i keep complaining, jus dont play.
try being bored and finding something to do and jus keep logging in non stop for 2hrs for that mere hope that the frigging ship screen will change to the dock.
thats it. no silkroad for me for 2 weeks. im jus pissed and friggin irritated at thsi crap networking management.
if the technical staff there at silkroad still dont bother about fixing this problem, i dun think ill bother to play too.

Ditto, Seriously they're not even trying to fix the biggest problem of this server. They should at LEAST provide a temporary solution or something. This is the worse problem in any MMORPG that i've ever seen. Worst Case Scenario has come to life.
I seem to either Disconnect or it looks like im about to get in (dark screen when coming up to char) it just completely shuts off silkroad and goes to my windows.... WTF anyone know why? OR does this always happen in mornings because I used to be at school, or that its summer and people have nothing better to do

**** Silkroad give up. 45 mins of trying, either i get d/c or it seems im in, im back at windows screen. Not wasting my time trying to get into the game when I know after I do a few more minutes its gonna say"Disconnected to Server" or have the "?" mark thing apppear.

That "back-at-Desktop" also occured to me with the second newest patch (the one with NGuard excluded) ... yesterday I successfully made it in the game again...
Maybe try those Tips with changing resolution before starting the game or changing your graphics drivers to older/newer versions...
But it occured to me every time after that patch, so I think it is due to the game, not because of my computer... weird...
