Takla Party Mobs

Is it just me or is anyone else quite frankly getting pissed off with people spawning party mobs in Taklamakan (Or any Chinese race party spawning them)

I'm an Int build lvl 71 and grinding Niya guards, I have no problem what-so-ever killing them and kill most of them before they even get a hit. You can guarantee within 30 minutes of being there a party of str's will turn up and start spawning them everywhere. Yes they have 5x more health and you get alot more exp but you also waste ridiculous amounts of ptos and time killing them and for an int build like myself a party mob my lvl is just going to kill me.

I can take one but the time I spend killing it I'll of attracted 2 more niya guards and then It's simply game over. I shouldn't have to move grinding spots and go 3-5 levels down because of people spawning them.

For now it doesn't happen too often but I'm dreading the snipers/hunters, they have bot partys and they all turn KS on, you see them all running towards the same mob and this is 24 hours a day.

As it stands, for an int build, Taklamakan is just a place to go and commit suicide or spend all day running from party mobs.

4 deaths today and counting and around a loss of 1.5mill exp.

I wasn't to happy with the EXP i earnd. It didnt go very quickly. And yes you get KS'd very very hard. And next to that, the guys who are KS'ng you are 1 botters or 2 they dont want in your share PT.

They just dont understand sro. Dmn solo grinding

Shouldn't have to go to lower mobs, that's a big exp loss over a few hours (so is my deaths but that's down to idiots spawning them)

Join a bot KS party? I'd rather go grind mangyangs for eternity.

try the caves? wear armor? use your build better,
don't be afaid to move some if you have to, you don't have to kill everything around you, if they sapwned the party creature they'll probally kill it, in euro there are many times i've had to move, when a gaint spawns or party ones, they are called party creatures for a reason though (they are over powered because you are supposed to kill them as a group)

don't be afaid to move some if you have to, you don't have to kill everything around you, if they sapwned the party creature they'll probally kill it, in euro there are many times i've had to move, when a gaint spawns or party ones, they are called party creatures for a reason though (they are over powered because you are supposed to kill them as a group)

And at my level party mobs are spawned on about every creature my level so moving helps in no way what-so-ever, it just means I'm getting less exp until that moment when I will be killed by a party mob.

Lvl 65 party mobs can kill me in caves, just takes a few of them and I have str 5 on everything and 400HP on Head, Chest and legs.

Join the parties (and leach if they're all afk) or grind elsewhere. nothing you can do about it, i'm afraid.

if you get all sosun clothes you won't die so easily, i have sosun pants and sos head and wrists, all plus 3, my charector is as high lvl as your but i take like 1/3 less dmg, now if the whole set was sosun +3 (or more, with blues) you're defense will be insane, and if its the weapon you'll kill easier.

lol people don't seam to get the fact that party creatures aren't meant to be easy to solo either, and china can be very co operative if you want, just every one ignores the force skills, because they want all 3 elements and to use all 3 weapons sets, specialization makes it more fun anyways.

Not necessarily. But if thats what you prefer <.<

I take the force skill tree, and my team got Yarkan kill just hours ago. Ress everyone (even the rival union members, but thats just me). Had a cleric too in our party which helped. I have to say I've never enjoyed sro more than ever since being a healer (Bored with soloing Yarkan from previous servers).

Lvl 71 gettin killed by a few lvl 65 prty mobs...LOL! Dude set your pots higher if that doesnt work...well your terrible. Grind with mana shield then.

If you take some time to scout the entire area of the mob your gonna grind im sure you can find non pl/bot prty areas.

sure its easier said then done, he just asked how it would help, i explained. I want sosun cleric rod, that'd make me happy, i wonder what their glow is like since the rods have their own glow for sos, what som and sosun look like

You dont need to have full sosuns. You can compensate for the lower defense by playing differently. I'm pure int using garms, and it wasnt difficult for me to dodge Yarkan, his spawns, and all the party mobs that spawned near us (i counted 11 shamans). I'm not even using fully pimped 3rd tier garms <.< (still using 2nd tier).

Party mobs is a blessing actually, especially when there are more afk players in the area.

Lvl 71 gettin killed by a few lvl 65 prty mobs...LOL! Dude set your pots higher if that doesnt work...well your terrible. Grind with mana shield then.

If you take some time to scout the entire area of the mob your gonna grind im sure you can find non pl/bot prty areas.

The caves are small and 5 party mobs even 5 levels down can quite easily kill an int. I use Mana sheild.

Share parties are NOT just for Europeans or JM would have made it that way. People like to party with their friends. It helps you get through the grind easier. Might take longer, but its their choice.

It'd be nice if the ones that want to do party mobs have some consideration on where they are grinding, and not try to push you out.

It is funny for those cocky ints that like to ks to have to turn tail and run when a horde of party mobs starts giving chase.

Not funny for you decent ints though.

I steer clear of the share parties since i'm on ticket, so I hate party mobs too.

2nd, use specialized armor sets. There are huge differences between garments and armors.


The bots now play in share not because exp is better, if fact it must probably be a bit worse. But it protects them from any share party that might be nearby. If they didn't gank all the mobs, they would die quite fast.

From observation most ints dont fight stuff orange or red, its white or lower, what ever they can one nuke. I grind on red mobs(PEGs) as a hybrid int, with mana shield, but I am pretty anal about my gear. don't get me wrong I do die on occasion but that is usually because a party champ or gaint spawns on my ass. lol

1st: Yes it highly affects exp over a prolonged grind and I'd still stand a chance of meeting my death to party mobs. In the time it takes to kill one another 5 have my attention.

2nd: I wear armor with full increases so short of having SoSun there is nothing I can do.

Party mobs are great for the game for Chinese as well.

I hate when hunting for Moles for instance - their spawn rate is so slow you spend minutes (literally) waiting for spawns that someone else does not reach first - and this being with more than 2 people in the same room.

An auto share party solves the problem - spawn rate is higher, mobs take longer time to kill allowing significant increase on the number of people in a room. So, from having 2 people that has to wait for 10 to 20 seconds between each kill or have 7 - 8 people can grind there without any interruptions are a massive improvement.

The xp is not bad even if you solo party mobs - well, none that I can find. It takes me roughly 8 attacks to kill a pt mob when a normal mob takes 2. The exp gained is roughly the same increase of a normal mob.

Oh, and I forgot, it is a great way to get rid of botters in the caves as well - few of them will survive a room where there suddenly arrives an army of pt mobs.

For a team, this is no problem, ensure to protect the nukers in the pt by taking the aggro on the pure str people.

Then your character certainly has a problem, and it's nothing I can help with.

I'm hybrid int archer and I have absolutely no problems with party mobs of my own level.

I prefer to grind alone, that's the way Chinese races work. There's only party mobs everywhere for the simple fact Euro chars migrate to China after 40. While it can be fun It's less exp over prolonged time and a huge waste of pots.
