Bard Skills For Wizard

Post by Quyxz »

I would like to have a few bard skills. I am a wizard. I have level 10 bard now adn that gives me moving march and mana cycle. I both like the skills. If I level up Bard to 20 or even furder, what skills should I take? I don't need attack skills. Only buffs. And I also don't need buffs which require a permanent harp. SO that you can't switch to staff.

What skills do you advise? Thanks. :)

Hmm you need moving march, noice(prevent aggro of monsters[not champs or giants]) and there is another skill that i dont remember its name xD but it takes half of the dmg ur party member deals and adds it to your MP! to bad it cant be used on yourself, ah?

So there are not that much skills I can use? :(
Ah maybe I take another subclass then, but I don;t think other classes will be better. And I also like the harp and music. :P

jeez, you can never get straight answers from other people . . .

Bard skills that are useful for wizies are:

1. Moving March > Swing March at later levels
2. Noise
3. Mana Cycle for MP regeneration

you can still use other skills but they are not as useful to a wizard as the 3 skills that I've mentioned.

That's not very much. :(

Ah well, I like moving march a lot, so I just stay with bard as subclass, I guess. :)

Wiz/Bard is the perfect combo.

Moving March, Noise.

All you really need, saves you plenty of SP for your wizard. Don't mess with the single target mana regen skill, unless you just don't want to use mana pots. Once your skills are high enough mana pots are a necessity and the mana regen not worth bothering with IMO.

you can also get Discord Wave to fend off Ksers (kill stealers).

Isn't it annoying when the Party Giant that you found gets ksed by some chinese-char-bag-of-wind or by other euro char.

Since i already suggested this skill, let me show you how it works. I'm a cleric/bard and once a KSER comes in to picture, i pass the signal to my party by casting BLESS. My party will be hitting the other pt mobs in the area, step right next to the KSER and cast DISCORD WAVE on all of us. u'll get a dead Kser or a char running with his tail tucked between his legs.

then you get the PT Giant for yourselves again.
