i like the bard skill noise very much
general mobs wont attack u with that skill
moving march is nice 2 if you dont play in party´s you dont have to take other bard skills so you wont need very much sp for bard tree

ok do this, im lvl 50 right now and it works GREAT, go bard sub for xbow, and than wear robe for armor not light armor. Reason, the weaknes of xbow is being one shot by wizards, so with robe you have more magic defense ANd more speed, also once you get high lvl and you have bard, you NEVER have to buy a horse cause you go SO fast. I first thought about tkaing warrior sub for heavy armor, but than i talked to my lvl 60 xbow friend and he told me about this, and this made me 100% sure i wass going bard sub. so take this and you wont regret it, and anyways light armor looks SO ugly.

Warlock-Based Submastery Comparison (Cleric and Bard)
Quick Overview
Bard: Heals MP, Increases Party Speed, Weaker Absolute Damage Skills that Steal MP, Can Dance with Other Bards to Support Party, No Ultimate Damaeg Skills
Cleric: Heals HP, Increases Party Defense, Stronger Absolute Damage Spells, Can Buff INT and STR to Support Party, Offering Skills that sacrifice HP to do massive damage, Can Resurrect
Useful Skills
Bard: Moving March and Swing March, Mana Cycle, Noise
Cleric: Bless Spell, Recovery Division, (Healing Spells, Resurrecting Spells) <- Party
Bard Skill Descriptions
Moving March and Swing March - These skills increase your moving speed from anywhere between 20% and 80%, possibly more. This means you'll be able to get away from monsters more easily and get to the next monster more quickly. Very helpful! It also goes on your party members, if you have any. =P
Mana Cycle - You can cast this on yourself to recover MP over time. This allows you to keep casting spells. If you get good at switching between weapons, it only takes a little over a second to switch to a harp, cast this spell on yourself, switch back to your Warlock Rod and Shield, then start fighting again. If you time it properly, you can even use this in the middle of a fight. This is also helpful for keeping party members full of MP. Cast it on yourself, then your party members, then yourself again.
Noise - This keep aggressive monsters away from you. It doesn't work on champions and giants, but it's still very useful. It keeps you safer when you're training around aggressive monsters.
Cleric Skill Descriptions
Bless Spell - This increases you and your party members' defense by A LOT for a short amount of time. It's perfect when you want to suck more HP than how much damage is being done to you.
Recovery Division - This heals the person in your party with the lowest HP every few seconds for 5 minutes. If you're not in a party, it'll heal you every few seconds for 5 minutes. Handy, but not absolutely necessary for Warlocks...
(Healing Spells - This is self explanatory. You can heal others and yourself.
Resurrecting Spells - Also self-explanatory... You can resurrect your friends if they die.) <- Party
Other Bard Spells
Temptation - This makes a monster attack other monsters. It's fun and handy, but not necessary. Get it if you want. Might as well, right?
Other Cleric Spells
Offering - I would put this up there, but you don't actually need it. It goes well with Warlocks, though. This takes a huge chunk of your HP out, but it does tons of damage and it has a huge INT multiplier. Theoretically, you could cast Recovery Division and Healing Cycle on yourself, use this, then start sapping HP. You should be filled up in no time. Couple that with Mana Cycle and you'll be ready to rock in no time. This skill probably has a cooldown, but you can use other skills if it does.
I hope that helped. I recommend Bard, simply because of the MP recovery skills you'll get. This will allow you to keep moving, since you already sap HP as a Cleric. You'll be able to run faster so your damage over time spells can keep hitting monsters and they won't be able to touch you. It's up to you, though.
Moving March and Noise, all you really need from bard skills. This is what most Wizard/Bards use, I use them with my Wiz/Bard. At Bard 20 you have 30% speed and Noise will prevent most common mobs from attacking you. Champions and Giants are less effected by noise. What is the point to noise? You can solo in a more safe manner, mobs that are near you or spawn right on top of you rarely attack you unless provoked.
Again Giants and Champions don't seem to be effected as much by Noise, at least not at a low Noise skill level.

Giants & Champs are not affected by Noise no mater the lvl.
I will be glad to hear something about the passive skills in the bard tree that can be usefull for a Rogue/Bard, because i'm a bit lost with those passives.
