My greatest achievement so far was today.
I was out killing tigers with my friend. We were on the Tiger's grinding tooth (should be molar) quest and I had 2 more molars to go. He died from a 4v1 Tiger gang bang (he forgets to use pots a lot) and was back in Jangan after pleading with a passerby for a res... when I saw a Giant Tiger.
Although there was no one around and I can only barely take on 1 Giant Tiger on my own (lvl 15), I went for it and told my friend on TS to get a horse and help me out. I started off by summoning my eagle (every bit helps) and hitting it with a Devil Bow combo and scored a 350ish crit. After that it ran at me and I started tapping away at my mp herb & special attacks.
After what seemed like a minute of an intense keyboard tapping battle, TWO Tigers come up behind me and start attacking me. At this point I panicked with 200 hp left and I was about to die. I quickly turned on grasswalk, and tried to run while hitting my HP pots.
After I was out of their hitting range but under their pursuit, I tapped one MP herb, turned around, and did the same Anti Devil combo on a regular Tiger. He was dead after an extra double arrow hit before he got to me, and then I worked my way up and attacked the other Tiger. He was down after 3 hits and then I tried that same Anti Devil combo on the Giant... but nothing happened, I was out of MP!! I tapped my mp herb button and checked the blue bar... but nothing happened. I looked down at my belt and there were no more herbs!
I popped open my inventory and scanned it while using up my HP pots to keep myself alive, and found 4 purple Vigor herbs and 2 mp 25% grains I picked up from other Tigers. I placed those into empty quick slots and fired away. Using those and my HP pots frugally, because I was almost out of those too, I finished off the Giant Tiger!!
After that I told my friend in teamspeak to head back into town and get me some more potions and herbs for not helping.
