Nuker and pet wolf.

Hi I am making a Nuker,

Light, Ice and Bicheon. I was just wondering is it even worth buying a wolf? I am level 19 and I already have 2 million gold.

I would like one but I think it would be pointless since stuff dies fast anyway.

What are your thoughts?

IMO, Wolfs are a bit better for str chars. As you said, nukers kill everything fast so that wolf isnt very helpful.
But, you can always send your wolf to kill something else, so that you both are killing something - more exp. Also, if in danger, attacked by many aggro mobs, let your wolf attack some of them, it can tank waaaaaay better than you as a Int char(wolfs tank even better than pure str chars)
And, wolf looks cool. :twisted:

You can buy it and level it and then sell it for a profit. That is if you have the money right now.

i had the same doubt when i started, then finaly i decide to buy the wolf, a week latter npc it... he look so dumb running arround trying to bite mobs i already killed =p Buy it only if you are hybrid or str, for pure ints is just a waste of money

depends on how you fight.. if you fight multiple agro mobs at the same time.. then a wolf is great. It tanks a part of the mobs. While you kill them off. I've had a wolf a long time.. and i love it.
But if you fight one mob at a time... and the ones you can 1hit.. then yeah.. ti's a waste of money. If you buy it you gotta use it.. by fighting more and higher mobs.

Wolf is allways usefull. Im full int. At 50 when i was. i met 52+ opponent on job. He could kill me. But i nuked lioned and wolf bited <3 Wolf killed my opponent. ^^ it allways usefull. And what is 1m lol.

My wolf have helped me pull through some real tight situations

when a whole bunch mob spawn on you, your wolf is your last line of defense really, it tanks well,high hp, also when your nuke is just not powerful enough to finish the mob off, your wolf does it for you

Even for a nuker I found the wolf very useful 1mil isn't really a lot to ask for

you should be able to look up lots of threads about weather to buy a wolf or not.... I personally really really like my wolf.. its has died more than I would like at 50k each time. but I am always glad that I have him grinding next to me. It makes a difference seems like a INT char the wolf would be ideal he helps finish off the mobs for you. you can always buy one and if you really dont like it sell it off. I feel like you probably wont make much profit but worth it.

Depends really. If you're gonna be attacking things u dont 1-hit, then go for it!

They help in jobbing anyway

If you can afford it then its prolly a good idea. As a nuker you will kill fast but in agro areas your will also get attacked and swarmed. If you have a wolf it will take attacks for you and save your life on occasion until you manage to kill all the agro in your area.

Also for party or giants your wolf attacking will amount to 1-2 nukes so it can be usefull attacking in those instances.

When your wolf lvls it becomes more valuable and thus can be seen as an investment as well.

Also when your a high lvl on a horse and want to kill some annoying agro mob or jobbing and want to kill a noob ya can send the wolf instead of getting off mount and waiting for time to pass b 4 re summoning your horse.

At 80 a wolf also has like almost 30k hp...with 30 k hp you can have some fun watching lower lvls try and kill it while you laugh at them

im pure int mage lvl 32 now and i got wolf its helps good.. to protect u from dieing sometimes and so

Pure CHINESE INT, sure. However with Europe I can see them very useful for Bards, Clerics and Warlocks, especially Bards and Clerics.

Well I just found a SOS lvl16 bow so I guess I can sell that and pay for my wolf.

Also another tip, if you're unsure about the wolf make sure that wehn you buy it you don't give it a name for a while. That way if you have second thoughts and want to sell it in a stall it's more likely to get sold faster.

In my opinion it doesn't even matter which build you have, for every build it's usefull. The build it's least usefull is in my opinion the 70/70 bow. As already said, it's a lifesaver in rough times.

But be prepared to pay 50k once in a while, cause you'll never ever get him not to die once...(unless you let him sit at your side all the time in defensive mode...)

As for me (I also train them, so they'll die often training at earth ghosts with a lvl 1 pet... ;-)

) and I think I've already spend around 3 million just on the grass of lifes..
