I don't think that's quite true. When you say something like "Americans are a bunch of idiots" and an American says "no we're not" I wouldn't just chalk that up to blind patriotism. You stirred up a hornets nest here and don't be shocked when people try and sting you.

I too have lived all over Europe and America (I was married to a European for several years) and I have exactly the opposite opinion that you do. There are Europeans that love America. There are Americans that hate America. There are stupid Europeans and stupid Americans. In my experience, the ratio of intelligent to stupid people has been fairly consistent everywhere I've been, throughout Europe and America.

Personally, I think you're wrong. But your views are pretty firmly entrenched and I don't see much purpose in arguing with you. I think if you opened your mind up a bit, you'd find plenty of exceptions and that number you pulled out of your ass ("78%") might go down a bit. My suggestion would be that, so long as you are here, try and look for the exceptions and you might have a pleasant stay. Other countries will learn their own language, english, and a foreign language. In the US, it's not even required to do one.

Colleges have a 2 year foreign language requirement; most complete it during high school.

International schools have the IB program, international bacheloriat (pardon my spelling). This allows you to get into ANY college in the WORLD.

The people in the building did not burn alive, or get severe burns from the heat, hence the flames must have not been hot. They weren't, the only way to melt steel is to use a blastfurnace, which is able to make the hottest flames on earth. That's the only way to melt it. A plane crashing into a building does not generate a fraction of the heat a blastfurnadce has. Hence, how did the towers steel melt, like how the government claimed it did? Even if by some miracle the steel did melt, how did the core disappear? It's near indestructable to nature (fire=nature, even if it was caused by a plane).

When you watch the video of the tower being hit, there are smaller explosions happening on all sorts of different floors... Bombs maybe?
Why were the towers hit when there were the least ammount of people in them? Surely Iraq would have not done that on purpose.
Howcome they weren't able to find the blackbox from the plane? Something that can withstand falls of thousands of feet, and cannot melt?

Even if all of these things happened because of the plane hitting the tower, what happened to the second tower? It was never hit.

High school is easy everywhere, also in Holland where education is supposed to be good.
High school will always be easy simply because people with IQ 120+ can do better things than teaching other children. Secondly, you ever stop to think that the reason people say "it's the best place in the world" is because they're trying to offset all the fuckwits saying America is this, that and the other thing? The twin towers had a steel core, which was designed to never fall. Not to mention the whole building was made out of steel.
The people in the building did not burn alive, or get severe burns from the heat, hence the flames must have not been hot. They weren't, the only way to melt steel is to use a blastfurnace, which is able to make the hottest flames on earth. That's the only way to melt it. A plane crashing into a building does not generate a fraction of the heat a blastfurnadce has. Hence, how did the towers steel melt, like how the government claimed it did? Even if by some miracle the steel did melt, how did the core disappear? It's near indestructable to nature (fire=nature, even if it was caused by a plane).

When you watch the video of the tower being hit, there are smaller explosions happening on all sorts of different floors... Bombs maybe?
Why were the towers hit when there were the least ammount of people in them? Surely Iraq would have not done that on purpose.
Howcome they weren't able to find the blackbox from the plane? Something that can withstand falls of thousands of feet, and cannot melt?

Even if all of these things happened because of the plane hitting the tower, what happened to the second tower? It was never hit.

I too have lived all over Europe and America (I was married to a European for several years) and I have exactly the opposite opinion that you do. There are Europeans that love America. There are Americans that hate America. There are stupid Europeans and stupid Americans. In my experience, the ratio of intelligent to stupid people has been fairly consistent everywhere I've been, throughout Europe and America.

Personally, I think you're wrong. But your views are pretty firmly entrenched and I don't see much purpose in arguing with you. I think if you opened your mind up a bit, you'd find plenty of exceptions and that number you pulled out of your ass ("78%") might go down a bit. My suggestion would be that, so long as you are here, try and look for the exceptions and you might have a pleasant stay. Of course, that's going to be hard if your whole family enjoys bitching about America. If you can't find any, I hope you get to a place that you are happy as soon as possible.

I don't have any, for I have not taken geography, or any early classes, where most of this takes place. However, I'm pretty sure that this is true. It's true in every country though, I was just putting that out there.

Other countries will learn their own language, english, and a foreign language. In the US, it's not even required to do one.

Colleges have a 2 year foreign language requirement; most complete it during high school.

Europeans must have at least 4 years of one language, and as I said it's almost ALWAYS more than that. In holland, I started taking dutch when I was in 1st grade, and would have continued all the way to 12th grade. You take 2 languages starting at 5th grade.

International schools have the IB program, international bacheloriat (pardon my spelling). This allows you to get into ANY college in the WORLD.

Our entire country is made up mostly of immigrants (PEOPLE FROM OTHER COUNTRIES), a decent proportion of them illegal these days, who come here to work and make money. I've lived, not just vacationed, but actually lived in France, Scotland, Spain and Sweden. I've visited many more. There are definitely things peculiar to each country, but intelligence is not one of them. If anything, I found the French to be the least intelligent and least creative, but not by any hugely measurable degree that couldn't be accounted for simply by my unique experience there.

I don't hate america because of the conspiracy theories, please remember what I said before. I have been constantly giving reasons for why I hate the US, the conspiracy thing was only a response to what someone said.

Well, my opinions are my own. Personally I don't agree with much our government does, and neither do most Americans. Your reply was so ignorant and ridiculous that I won't even sink to reply back. You feel you're better, and smarter than most Americans, yet you know so little about the country you hate.

But, like what was said before, I think this should end and this thread should die. It's no place for a debate on whether America sucks or not, which is all a matter of opinion anyway.
