Sleeping on your back induce Snoring

because your air way is partcially blocked

Sleep on the side reduce snoring, and its also good for your spine, due to less compression on your spinal column

however sleeping on the side requires constant change in position overnight because your arms will not have enough circulation

and having mimimal change in position is essential for a good night sleep

sleeping on your stomach is the worst position of all, low circulation, bad for spine + many other effects including blocked airway

Also study shows that if you sleep while your hand/arm is being compressed by something (e.g. head/pillow) during your sleep, your chance of getting a bad dream is higher

Also studies show the darker your sleeping environment is, the more well rested you will be when you wake up

regardless of the number of hours you sleep. Hence if 2 man sleep the same number of hours one in a dark room and one in a bright room, the dark room person will feel more energized after he wakes up.

Usually on my side......but I've woken up with my head at the other end of the bed before, I shift a lot during sleep.

i sleep in whatever position i scomfortable for the evening...sometimes its side sometimes its back somethings its on my stomach...whatev
