shit.. any pro AOC players here?( Age of Empires )

Okay I'm on LAN and we're playing AOC all the time. I'm trying to beat this guy but he keeps owning me. He builds a shitload of towers and I'm not skilled enough to prevent this with a quick flush(I'm not fast enough with the villagers and shit). When he has his towers down he starts creating a shitload of soldiers and rushes my base and pwn0nz me.
I almost had him, but he created a second town and apparently had a shitload of resources, made a big army and owned my village when I was destroying his first town.

He isn't really a skilled player, I'm just real bad. I know what to do at the beginning, I just need tips on how you get these type of players.(Race?) He also has his army up way faster than me, but I have more villagers

I tried going Chinese for the fast flush -> towers = dead. I tried going hun and create a shitload of villagers for super duper economy, I ran out of resources, tried to get new, no resources available and he just outplayed me after that.

Basically I need a strategy that is instant win no matter how n00b I am. I'd love you even more if you have the solution.

I believe I saw Master_Wong and Shadowman discussing it some time ago. They seemed to be pretty good. Not completely sure about Master, but I'm about 95% sure that Shadowman plays it, and if he does, he's probably pretty good at it as well. PM him, I'd say.

Ok, I used to play a lot of AOC after school at my old school in the computer lab on LAN and this one guy always beat me, and trust me if he could take down my three walls and towers you can beat this guy. Build stables first and build a shit load of paladins, and keep doing it, he always rushed us with paladins and trebuchets, build those too. Paladins and trebuchets. He was the race with the unique unit that threw axes.

Sorry that's all I can remember, I might boot up good ol' AOC sometime though.

Yeah that's what he'd do, he'd rush the f**k out of us (we were on like a team of 3 and rarely beat this guy) You could always find the unit he uses the most and build as many of the counter units you can, or build a second village somewhere......
