Well, Arachne is a late addition to Greek mythology, told in Ovid's Metamorphoses. She was an expert weaver, even boasting her skills to be greater than Athena herself. Taking the form of an old woman, she appeared before Arachne and warned her not to anger the gods. In her arrogance, she challenged the crone to a weaving contest. Dropping her disguise, Athena agreed.

Arachne's work was flawless, but her subject was the transgressions of the gods. Zeus' infidelity with Leda and others. This angered Athena who, while admitting her work was flawless, destroyed such a horrendous slight against Zeus. In the end, Athena spares Arachne's life and changes her into a spider.

There's no real reason I chose it. The model looks more exotic than most of them, and since I fancy myself to be fast and deadly, well...

That, and I refuse to have someone with numbers in their name. ^_^;

My ign is just going along with some higher levels in sparta, named lllVlll and lllHlll... always wanted to join thier guild. and i used the letter J because it's my favorite letter and the first letter of my first and last name.
