If the album is anything like waking the fallen then im excited but if its like city of evil then im not. Hard to tell from the short clip of that one song, seems to be a mixture.

I think that clip could be better.. I'm not too fond of the way the song was put together in some parts.. but I think it'll be a good album

I don't really enjoy Avenged Sevenfold anymore, it was more of a phase. Just to use that statement as a comment, to clarify something for idiots like "ghostkilla43".

Which brings me to my next part. Emo, being short for emotional, is not appliable to a single music genre. All music, no matter the genre, is emotional: that's the driving force for its' expression. However, Emo, or scene as some would rather call it to be spared of rediculation of being labled emo, is more of a fashion style or clique.

Like thug/gangster, surfer, preppy, etc. emo is a label applied to people; not music. Unless you think Gangsters listen to Gang music?

The sad part is, for the most part, the "emos" are as clueless about the subject as the ignorant people insulting them.

There are music artists that choose to dress and live emo, but that does not make the music emo, let alone the people who listen to it.

They all say that Ito. When you make music with lyrics ala Linkin Park, you're emo. We've been through a thread or two already about the term and I think people are gonna keep using it to classify depressed/suicidal people. That's just the way the grass grows. Depressed/suicidal is not emo. I don't think someone who wears lime green thigh high socks with a hello kitty skirt and pink tshirt with hearts on it, is very depressive.

Emo, for me, represents the anti-conformity phase seen in early teens but in a label format. That way, instead of saying "we dress ridiculously because we don't want to be like our parents", they can just say "were emo".

and I dont really know a7f alot so I couldn't say how they are I just saw the pict of the ''emo guy'' in the band lol.

and I cant help but someone dressing like a queer with fancy hair and mascara singing about how his girlfriend left him for a skateboard is kinda ridiculous. And all kid dressing like this and acting the ''emo way'' are just looking for attention.
