Wizard skills

Ok im a pure wizard (no subclass yet) - lvl 13 .. and i use a lvl 3 gap to save skillpoints ...

question: is it possible to have a 3 gap and use the FIRE, EARTH and ICE books maxed w/o farming? Or are only 2 books recommended? I know ICE isnt that good but i do like the invisibility skill .. or should i take the LIGHTNING book .. i dont know yet :roll:

Any feedback from veteran wizards (i know you're out there

) would be great.

I've been 3 gapping and I have every single skill maxed (at lvl 30) except for 1st book of lightning. And I only 3-gapped from 2X.
