dihydrogen monoxide
BAN DIYDROGEN MONOXIDE
Dihydrogen monoxide is colorless, oderless, tasteless, and kills thousands of people every year. Most of these deaths are caused by accidentaly inhalation of DHMO, but the danger of Dihydrogen Monoxide do not end there. Prolonged exposure to its solid form can cause severe tissue damage. Symptoms of of DHMO exposure can include excessive sweating and urination, and can possibly to a bloated feeling, nausea, vomiting, and body electrolyte imbalance. For those who become dependent, DHMO withdrawal means certain death
Dihydrogen Monoxide
is a major component of acid rain
contributes to the greenhouse effect
may cause severe burns
contributes to the erosion of the landscape
accelerates coruption and rust many metals
may cause electrical failures and decrease effectiveness of brakes
has been found in tumors
large amounts of Dihydrogen Monoxide have been found in almost every stream,lake, and resevoir in america today. But the contamination is global and can even be found in antartic ice. DHMO causes millions of dollars in property damage every year.
despite the danger DHMO is used
as a coolant
in nuclear power plants
in the production of styrofoam
as a fire retartant
in many forms of cruel animal research
the distribution of pesticides ( after washing DHMO remains on produce)
an adictive in certain food products

my chemistry teacher handed out a petition for the class to sign after reading us that exact article. He says if he can 200 signatures he will send it to some college and maybe we will make a difference. I didn't sign it because it sounded like some fruity tree-hugger crap. Did he just own himself and everyone who signed it by falling for a prank? I would laugh my ass off.

it sounds like he was trying to see who was paying attention in class because
di = 2
hydrogen
mono = 1
oxide = oxygen
H2O
this was interesting http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yi3erdgVVTw

Can't you see were trying to destroy each other and corrupt this forum for our own selfish lifeless desires? >.>
On topic i do care but won't answer because when it's a interesting topic that forces teenagers to think...well let's just say that there have been somewhat of an increase in locked topics.
