I can see why so many people quit playing this game. I have a list of complaints and if these issues are not fixed soon, I am quitting this game to play games I can actually log onto and play. World of Warcraft is by far more popular than Silkroad and yet I can always get on that game. Hmm, who are these brainiac coders behind Joymax?

1. Server traffic is my #1 complaint. With the new premium tickets out now, I can never seem to get on to play when I want to, even tho Joymax says this problem has been fixed. If this is true, why can I never get online anymore?

2. Bots, bots, and more bots. They ban 4,000+ bots, and as soon as the servers are back up, there are 4,000+ new bots. Why are there no bot-traps in Silkroad as there are in so many other MMO's? It's obvious to me the bots make money for Joymax as the very programs they use were made for their own GM's. I've never used one but there are links to videos that show you exactly how to use one and no I am not posting any of those links here.

3. No in-game GM interactivity (unless GM account names are created by regular users only to warn people of the impersonations 10,000 times a day). I think we got it the first 100 times. I am sick of seeing these "Notices" in-game over and over and over again. Apparently not many people go to their website if they must repeat themselves so many times, and it's funny to see people trying to talk to these "BOT" GM's. I always get a chuckle, as if they really expect any of them to reply. In my time of playing Silkroad for a little over a year now, I've only seen two GM's interact with players. This totally gives me the impression that the GM's of Silkroad could really care less about what goes on in their game and with the people who abuse the global chats on a daily basis.

4. No customer support. I have been blocked from sending bug reports through the Silkroad website yet I am still allowed to buy their precious silk? Makes no sense to me. I was not told why I was blocked and I now have no means to contact Joymax unless i create a character nameon my Silkroad account and post on their "unsecure" forum from that name. I am not about to do that as I know a user's actual ID can be exposed when omeone replies to any topic on that forum. It's the most unsecure thing anyone could ever do and I use to wonder why so many people got hacked before but then I once almost relied to a topic on their forum and saw my own user ID exposed. Screw that shit.

5. The chat system blows totally. Who makes a chat client with no option of copying, pasting, or even standard editting. I've made chat clients and they all are fully editable texting applications. Ever try to hold a conversation in a town with so much lag going on it slows down cursor movement and takes forever to backup to fix a typo? Ever find yourself in the wrong chats? Ever type out a full sentence only to get cencored because you have a "variation" of a word in it that Joymax considers a violation? Try typing in the words grass, glass, assign, etc. It's stupid and irritating to have to type it all out again and then change up words to make it so it outputs to the users. Sometimes I have to do this several times just to get one simple point across. Why not put the cencored text back in the textbox so it can be editted instead of entirely removed? This really pisses me off sometimes.

6. High level players think they are gods on this game and choose to do whatever they want to whoever they want and don't have to fear any type of punishment from a GM simply because there is never a GM around! Friends of mine quit playing this game because they were singled out by certain high levels that would not back off of them and let them play the game. I was under the impression this fell under the "Game Play Interference" policy in Joymax's so-called Terms of Service Agreement, but nothing ever gets done about this kind of game play so why should anyone stick around to have to go through it when all they are trying to do is play a damn game.

7. Joymax adds stupid new shit to the game when they should be concentrating on server issues and much less server inspections. These so-called server inspections have never really done anything to "improve the game play experience" that I have seen. They are more of a pain in the ass than anything if you ask me. Most of the time they lie to users such as one time they said they were going to be doing a server inspection and actually did a massive bot ban. Also, Joymax never states exactly what they do (such as list fixes) during these server inspections. All you get from them is "Server Inspection Completed" at such and such time. I NEVER know what to expect to come back to after a server inspection with the exception that once the servers come back on, this is the ONLY time I can log into the game befreo the servers become packed and I can't get on.

8. Game freezes and errors. All I wanted to do tonight was de-level my alternate character. I tried, many times. Every single time I died and tried to res back to town, the game locks up and I am disconnected from the server until eventually I wasn't able to get back on at all. I quit. I am just so sick and tired of trying to get on just to play this game. It's made me consider other possibilities for games and if I do find a better one, Silkroad will be nothing more than a distant memory to me.

9. Lag Fixed? Where? Even with the graphics turned all the way down, I still lag like hell everytime I enter a town. A few times now Joymax has announced server upgrade equipment and fixes for lag, yet to this day I still lag just like I did when i began playing this game. And yes all my video drivers are updated. I have an ATI 512MB video card that plays all my other games just fine. Yet Silkroad lags like hell and sometimes it just pisses me off more.

10. I have never had so many problems and concerns with one single game until this game. I'm getting to the point to where I'm willing to let the bots have the game, as to me, it appears 70% of the gamer are bots anyway. I can spot a bot like within every 20 steps I take in this game no matter what part of the world I am in. Frankly I'm starting to find this game boring as all it really is anymore is a botfest and a grindfest and my fingers and my free time spent really don't feel like doing it anymore. I miss my Need For Speed games. Maybe I will put them back on here and re-live some memories. I always had a kickass time with those games and I can ALWAYS get online. Sux to be Silkroad right now.

That's all I have for now. I am tired, I have a life, a job, and no more time to bitch about Joymax and it's game that I think is going straight to hell. I really don't expect anyone to reply to this as Joymax never responds to anything I write them. But in the future if you don't see Bloodie around, you'll know why.

I wouldn't bother with GE either...they recently updated this week and are in another open beta. No one knows if it's going to be FTP or P2P. They have an item mall, bots, and lag as well, so if you don't want another repeat performance of silkroad, better keep looking

Well i didn't read all of that what you wrote, but i approximately know what are reasons for people quiting.

I have also fairly quit, like I'm sick of playing Silkroad anymore, I log in maybe once a day just to see if I can find some Chinese who would powerlevel me for free and that's it.

I'm going to take WoW from my friend either today or tomorrow. I already got an account on a nice private server, be lvl 70 in 1 day max and have lots of pvp fun ^^-

I meant "the bot programs were made BY the GM's" (and that's Game Masters, not Guild Masters) and calling someone a retard or handing out "retard points" over an opinion is retarded in itself.

GMs have better things to do than write bot programs. "You are awarded retard point number 2" Why does one have to be a GM to write a bot? Can you point to instances in other games where GMs were found to be writing bots? Couldn't say I dunno maybe a programmer. What you suggest is tantamount to claiming that Microsoft is the only source for all windows key generators. Your logic surely seems deficient.

All in all my opinion was based on well over a year of playing this game. No game is perfect but Silkroad has more issues with it than I care to list. So just cuz you've been playing 2 years vs. 1 year, I have enough experience on this game to form and base an opinion on it. I shouldn't have to play multiple games to have an enjoyable online gaming experience, but Silkroad has failed to provide this type of atmosphere. Obviously it has for you too, or you would not be playing Grenada Espada.

LOL actually I quit playing it back in late may or so. It was interesting for a while but over all even with it's deficiencies SRO is a better game. And about SROs deficiencies. Go do some reading up on other MMOs. SRO is hardly different. Rose on line, FlyFF, etc. They have all had mass hacking/botting. SRO is no different. We all have a love hate relationship with it. And while joymax may be taking advantage of the situation one would have to be a fool to believe they are the ones creating it as well.

2.bots have been cut down dramatically
3.the GM's are too busy reading emails trying to ban bots
4.not everything has custermer support hens these fourms so people can ask other players for help
5.the chat filter system is a bit dodgy but all there trying to do is cut down on swearing and racism can u blame them
6.well they can be cocky simply because they have reached the top level of the game and they wont get baned for being a prick
7.they add "stupid shit" because they want to catch up to the other versions dont u? once again server traffic has been resolved
8. game frezzes will keep happaning but thats what tuesdays are about.
9. lagg is not the game its ur computer either stop using other programs at the same time, lower the graphics or get a better computer
