2. Bots, bots, and more bots. They ban 4,000+ bots, and as soon as the servers are back up, there are 4,000+ new bots. Why are there no bot-traps in Silkroad as there are in so many other MMO's? It's obvious to me the bots make money for Joymax as the very programs they use were made for their own GM's. I've never used one but there are links to videos that show you exactly how to use one and no I am not posting any of those links here.

1. SRO had bot traps. They never updated them so surprise they quit working. Though the bots are so primative they could just give us an item called a stone that you can't walk through. We could place them on the bot paths out of town and get rid of most of the bots for a week or so. Thing is that botters have great customer service from their bot providers. Unlike us legits with joymax. Joymax broke wind over 6 months ago and they have yet to fix it. There is an unimplemented setting in our GUI pave for it eve. Yet they have not enabled it. So we have to hex edit the configs to get wind effects back. Patch comes out to break the bots they have it licked in a day or two.

2. About the bots being made initially for the GMs. You get an award of 1 retard point. You can't do anything with it and you can't redeem it anywhere. But knowing your condition you might find it cool. What would a GM who can create a capped and farmed character need a bot program for?

3. No in-game GM interactivity (unless GM account names are created by regular users only to warn people of the impersonations 10,000 times a day). I think we got it the first 100 times. I am sick of seeing these "Notices" in-game over and over and over again. Apparently not many people go to their website if they must repeat themselves so many times, and it's funny to see people trying to talk to these "BOT" GM's. I always get a chuckle, as if they really expect any of them to reply. In my time of playing Silkroad for a little over a year now, I've only seen two GM's interact with players. This totally gives me the impression that the GM's of Silkroad could really care less about what goes on in their game and with the people who abuse the global chats on a daily basis.

Ok I will agree with you on most of that. The GMs do need to be more visible. You are more likely to find a GM at the gates of town caping rather than banning. But then again when they are banning they tend to be invisible. Still they should be seen more/

I was not told why I was blocked and I now have no means to contact Joymax unless i create a character nameon my Silkroad account and post on their "unsecure" forum from that name. I am not about to do that as I know a user's actual ID can be exposed when omeone replies to any topic on that forum. It's the most unsecure thing anyone could ever do and I use to wonder why so many people got hacked before but then I once almost relied to a topic on their forum and saw my own user ID exposed. Screw that shit.

FYI they fixed (AKA hid the flaw on the forums) You can no longer use the forum software to quote someone. But still it is a half assed fix.

5. The chat system blows totally. Who makes a chat client with no option of copying, pasting, or even standard editting. I've made chat clients and they all are fully editable texting applications.

Well I dunno what MMOs you been playing. Maybe "NOTEPAD: The Quest for Clippy" But as far as I know no MMO has copy and paste. Not even everyones precious WoW. It is a game not a text editing software. Though I will admit there is some basic usability that joymax needs to fix.

Ever try to hold a conversation in a town with so much lag going on it slows down cursor movement and takes forever to backup to fix a typo? Ever find yourself in the wrong chats?

Ever type out a full sentence only to get cencored because you have a "variation" of a word in it that Joymax considers a violation? Try typing in the words grass, glass, assign, etc. It's stupid and irritating to have to type it all out again and then change up words to make it so it outputs to the users. Sometimes I have to do this several times just to get one simple point across. Why not put the cencored text back in the textbox so it can be editted instead of entirely removed? This really pisses me off sometimes.

Ok you get a +1 there. It does not totally cancel out the retard point but it makes it less glarring.

6. High level players think they are gods on this game and choose to do whatever they want to whoever they want and don't have to fear any type of punishment from a GM simply because there is never a GM around!

You will find ppl of all levels that behave that way given the chance. It is a question of maturity and not lvls.

Friends of mine quit playing this game because they were singled out by certain high levels that would not back off of them and let them play the game. I was under the impression this fell under the "Game Play Interference" policy in Joymax's so-called Terms of Service Agreement, but nothing ever gets done about this kind of game play so why should anyone stick around to have to go through it when all they are trying to do is play a damn game.

Lol that is pretty sad your friends could not escape them. It is pretty easy to loose someone on SRO. Can't tell you how many times I have done it.

These so-called server inspections have never really done anything to "improve the game play experience" that I have seen. They are more of a pain in the ass than anything if you ask me. Most of the time they lie to users such as one time they said they were going to be doing a server inspection and actually did a massive bot ban. Also, Joymax never states exactly what they do (such as list fixes) during these server inspections. All you get from them is "Server Inspection Completed" at such and such time. I NEVER know what to expect to come back to after a server inspection with the exception that once the servers come back on, this is the ONLY time I can log into the game befreo the servers become packed and I can't get on.

It says nowhere in any agreement they have to tell you what they are for. And honestly I think we should get more updates. As well as more bot bans. There are SRO versions out there much younger than ours that have way more content and events than ours.

8. Game freezes and errors. All I wanted to do tonight was de-level my alternate character. I tried, many times. Every single time I died and tried to res back to town, the game locks up and I am disconnected from the server until eventually I wasn't able to get back on at all. I quit. I am just so sick and tired of trying to get on just to play this game. It's made me consider other possibilities for games and if I do find a better one, Silkroad will be nothing more than a distant memory to me.

It is not always their fault when this happens to you. There are plenty of ppl it does not really happen to. It may be something in your setup.

9. Lag Fixed? Where? Even with the graphics turned all the way down, I still lag like hell everytime I enter a town. A few times now Joymax has announced server upgrade equipment and fixes for lag, yet to this day I still lag just like I did when i began playing this game. And yes all my video drivers are updated. I have an ATI 512MB video card that plays all my other games just fine. Yet Silkroad lags like hell and sometimes it just pisses me off more.

There is only so much they can do and GFX card is not gonna fix it. I have 2 rigs with very similar GFX cards ram etc. Guess what the one with more actual CPU power gets better FPS in town. And the lag they were fixing was the lag all over the game. It is verry different from lagging in town. I know take it from someone who has played the game almost 2 years. =P

10. I have never had so many problems and concerns with one single game until this game. I'm getting to the point to where I'm willing to let the bots have the game, as to me, it appears 70% of the gamer are bots anyway. I can spot a bot like within every 20 steps I take in this game no matter what part of the world I am in. Frankly I'm starting to find this game boring as all it really is anymore is a botfest and a grindfest and my fingers and my free time spent really don't feel like doing it anymore. I miss my Need For Speed games. Maybe I will put them back on here and re-live some memories. I always had a kickass time with those games and I can ALWAYS get online. Sux to be Silkroad right now.

The secret of my success is taking breaks. Like right now I am on a Granado Espada break. Got my chars up over lvl 40 in a few days and having a nice time. Though I admit with joymin's constant fuckups the breaks keep getting bigger. And I am not going to purchase much more silk. Maybe 1 more ticket and pet to finish farming this char.

I can see why so many people quit playing this game. I have a list of complaints and if these issues are not fixed soon, I am quitting this game to play games I can actually log onto and play. World of Warcraft is by far more popular than Silkroad and yet I can always get on that game. Hmm, who are these brainiac coders behind Joymax?

There will always be server traffic, learn to live with it. Every single MMO has bots, be it a dozen, or a dozen thousand, even WoW has them.
If 80%+ of the SRO community weren't immature pre-teens (most of them), GM's wouldn't be needed, one thing that is needed is Customer Support, really. =/

I meant "the bot programs were made BY the GM's" (and that's Game Masters, not Guild Masters) and calling someone a retard or handing out "retard points" over an opinion is retarded in itself. I am far from any retard you have ever known. If retards are the only people you know then I suggest you find yourself some new friends. I take offense to your statements.

All in all my opinion was based on well over a year of playing this game. No game is perfect but Silkroad has more issues with it than I care to list. So just cuz you've been playing 2 years vs. 1 year, I have enough experience on this game to form and base an opinion on it. I shouldn't have to play multiple games to have an enjoyable online gaming experience, but Silkroad has failed to provide this type of atmosphere. Obviously it has for you too, or you would not be playing Grenada Espada.

In my 1st MMORPG I played, high levels would be silent and not talk to lower levels. BUT, when they get close to other high levels, they act like little puss1es. Talk like they Farking 10 and sh1t.

I dont like MMORPGs but still barely play SilkRoad due to the fact it owns. How it involve the Chinese and everything about the game is cool. But I cant play more then 10 minutes without getting bored and sleepy.
