Someone stole my thunder last night......i was close to getting TG last night, with a bunch of higher levels (50+) hitting her and moving away so i could get the kill.....in walks someone else, I'm guessing Andreboss, steals my thunder....why do people have to take a kill from a level 40? Everyone else took the honorable road and lemme have my first unique......some level 80 botter comes by and steals my kill...

There really isn't much that you personally can do...many capped players tend to take particular glee in inflicting misery upon the lower leveled players...unlike in real life where wealth or political stature matters not to a bullet...the game does not allow such equalizers to exist...your only hope is to lvl or have a capped friend...

First, its a free for all, highest damage gets the kill, there's nothing that you can do.

Second, you are level 40, TG is level 20. Aren't you being a hippocrite yourself? If you really feel that way you should be looking for Ureichi not tiger girl.

You be able to Tank uriechi at 40 you will die to easy if your a Glaive or blader or a nuker

But Im sorry i have to dissagree Hells

it is so hard for lvls 20-52 to get a TG kill becasue there is so amny high lvl campers

It sux...but it happens....I would never kill a lower lvl unique these days

It suxs so bad to wait for a few hrs and then have your glory taken in all of a minute or two. Keep at it, and you'll get the 'perfect spawn' where there's no one else but you, and you'll get the kill.

That's very commendable for others to step away to let you get the kill, I'm impressed.

Shame on that 80! :shock:

If I do happen to run across one and there is a lower lvl already on it (TG, Uri, Cerb), I'll take some screenies instead...gotta keep it fun for everyone...It's still open season on Isy, hehe - the elites still drop special return scrolls, so if nothing else, I try to kill a couple of them to maintain my supply

I just enjoy finding uniques now and don't have to get the kill to feel I've accomplished something.

Maybe others will get to that point as well.

The removal of Sox items I would adjust to making them only acquirable with Honor points only...SoX items are the single most unbalancing aspect of the game...making them more difficult to acquire, maintain and keep restores balance...*edits siggy*

Daily bot bans is self-explanatory...

Who cares? And if you kill it? Then you stole the kill from the lvl 20 guys.
This game (and none of the mmorpgs) has never been about equal chances or anything near to that, lvling is about getting better than others. And there is no problem if a lvl 80 guy kills tiger girl, why would you deserve it better ?O.o he earned his lvls he and the gameplay makes it possible so chill whiners. :wink:

i know. but this will only encorage u to lvl up. it did to me.

Actually 95% of the 80s didnt earn anything past lvl 20.

that is a different issue..anyhow being lv 80 should't mean that you can only kill yarkan,killing a unique is fun at any lvl. I don't wait for them of course but if i see them spawn and i am around i kill them no matter how many noobs are shooting it

i disagree, i find most people who claim legit can make it to about 7x, than it gets too hard, especially with new skills, you gotta kill like 2million monsters 9 gapping 75-80, i dont know anyone who can do that legit :roll:

Damn you FLOwshy is there reason you have to kill cerberus 5 times, man so back 3 days after euro opened i was out and bout in euorpe with at the time a lvl 18 cleric, what luck i find cerberus he kills me in 1 hit, i just got close to get some screen shots, so i come back with me china man, so i fight him all the way down i did about 5/6 of the dmg on him and of course this guy just randomly shows up and throws one nuke at him. Since then i've seen the game say he's killed him 4 more times. So thats why when i hit lvl 40 i'm going unique hunting with my cleric, out dmg offering i just like to see you try i have a good change of making sure i deal the last hit, just wait for the hp to get low and offering, i hate to be cheap about it but there is just no way to get it fairly it seams, it may not work on my first try on them but at least i'll have a chance to get the kill.

But by doing that you just continue the circle of hypocrisy and force other low leveled players into the same agony that you went trough..

If it irritates you which is logical then you should think of another way to get you're point across other people.

That is all andre does.....i mean, at his level he's got little to do, but, i had a level 60+ on Troy....and i would let others have the kill of TG.....i've never killed a unique before in my history of Sro...i let people take TG when they were lower than me significanly, i helped a level 34 take TG when i was on my friends account hopping around. I still think he coulda let me keep what i worked on....everyone else, even turks and people i've thiefed from gave me help since i was there first. As for me taking Uri.....i die at him...i get swarmed by Robbers and Bowmen...and before touching Uri i die.

its never said i wouldn't do it or agrued against it, I have nothing against some one wanting to get a unique kill, no matter the level, it become a problem when they do it 5 times in a matter of a week and a half, me i just want to get each one once, lvl 40 is a little high to go after them, but the others have faced me with little choice in the pursuit of my goal, so in a few weeks when i get to 40, i'm averaging about a lvl a day i'm now at 29 with my cleric (i like do other things besides grind the whole time I'm on) and since when school starts next week i'm cutting back to week ends only possilbe some times in the morning. its no hypocrisy if i never argued against doing it, my problem is when they do it multiple times, kill it once make yourelf happy i don't care, kill it a dozen times to just to make others unhappy so they havn't a chance is forcing others to behave just as cheaply in order to accomplish their own goals of getting the uniques. But what makes it different is that i'm not going to go after them a dozen times i'm going after them untill i get the screen shot.

Whoever gets the last hit isn't the person who gets the kill, if thats what your trying to say. Its just whoever does the most damage.
