Just about every MMORPG has been a grindfest in the past so you can fault SRO for that. MMORPGs have always been about grinding to the cap and obtaining the best gear. Even the people at Guild Wars realized this, which is why GW 2 is going to have a higher cap or no level cap at all.

Diablo was quite fast but for a more of a complete game, WoW comes and breaks the format and makes everything easier. People shun 90% of the other MMORPGs and bash them because of the grinding when its been the standard for a long time. The main thing WoW has on SRO is better customer service and end game content. Everything else is subjective.

fact is every player here that said they reached 70 in wow and after a bit left again to sro are just ppl that never raid at high-end (and no... deadmines isnt high-end

yeah um.... i still stick with the fact taht its boreing as hell when you get to cap, you can raid and raid all you want but its still same ol kiling gaurds killing gaurds fighting boss, whipe, start over. gets tiresome fast.

what about silkroad?? takes a sh1t load of time to reach cap, at the end what u gonna do? kill yarkan, job and cape fights? lolz at least in wow its have better content better gameplay and stuff u might get bored, if u get the chance to kill all bosses and get the best gear in the game (GL on that, cos u cant buy it) and still u wont quit. too bad i cant afford wow atm else i'd still be there, like eVilMeijin said u only get bored if u do always the same stuff all day long but wow got a lot of stuff to do so thats kinda hard

try getting premium access(friends) xD

and even if its crowded, the hardware is still way better than sro, so u can login without any problem... though u can get unwanted high lvl pvping u , and u have a big delay even more than europeans to drink HP potions.

if you dont like the games why play?

wow has uniques, pvp, and jobs (jobs are way different though). it also has raids, more then one cap set of gear, larger world, and all sorts....soo explain why is sro better simply because you dont like the toony graphics right then thats ok but dont go calling wow shit it has far better content compared to sro

Lol i only play like 5 hours a day max. Once school starts its maybe 1.5-2 hours probably...

I only play SRO one hour a day monday to friday, if I can get on... And weekends maybe 1.5 to 2 hours a day.

I won't switch to WoW. Videos I've seen never really impressed me, and besides, I don't want to pay cash for a game that I won't spend much time on anyway.

yes i do play silkroad for almost 2 years by now, and ive got my int hybrid to lvl 65 with premium...
and now u just told me everything that all other online games have, i mean so what if there is pvp,uniques, LARGer wolrd(lol) and the all sorts... which i dont know what exactly... u will still get bored, so why not play LINEAGE2? its same big world, many shits in there lots of chars, ALOT but ALOT pvps and so on
well maybe u got addicted too much to the WoW cause, i will call shit every single online game which is made to lvl up, it has no point, u first get excited but than u realise how stupid u were to start it at all , and spend ur time by sitting next to comp so much time...
so yeah just keep playing what u want , believe me ive played so much online games, like MUONLINE, la2, kalonline, rappelz, RFonline and probably more that i dont remember, all of them were pretty fun to play at first, but than they are just boring...
probably the best online game ive played is WARROCK , the only game needs actual skills to kill but then again, its not that kind of game but a 3dshooter...

i cannot compare those 2 games though cause i never played WOW but only saw some vids, and meh they are sucked O_O
