Bard works well because they have Mana Cycle, Moving/Swing March, and Noise.
Mana Cycle can be cast on yourself so you can regenerate MP REALLY fast. (Almost unlimited, unless you cast lots of big spells with a low level Mana Cycle on)
Moving March and Swing March make you run faster. This helps you level faster.
Noise keeps aggressive general monsters away. This assures gives you more choice over what monsters you fight. I was fighting a giant with my Wizard/Warlock and I was attacked by one champion and three general monsters. I survived, but only the champion would have attacked me if I had Noise!
By the way... That's Wizard/Warlock, not Warlock/Wizard. I chose Wizard first, and I wanted to have more attack spells instead of spells that support my class. I recommend Bard or Cleric as a submastery, not Wizard/Warlock or Warlock/Wizard.

Warlock-Based Submastery Comparison (Cleric and Bard)
Quick Overview
Bard: Heals MP, Increases Party Speed, Weaker Absolute Damage Skills that Steal MP, Can Dance with Other Bards to Support Party, No Ultimate Damaeg Skills
Cleric: Heals HP, Increases Party Defense, Stronger Absolute Damage Spells, Can Buff INT and STR to Support Party, Offering Skills that sacrifice HP to do massive damage, Can Resurrect
Useful Skills
Bard: Moving March and Swing March, Mana Cycle, Noise
Cleric: Bless Spell, Recovery Division, (Healing Spells, Resurrecting Spells) <- Party
Bard Skill Descriptions
Moving March and Swing March - These skills increase your moving speed from anywhere between 20% and 80%, possibly more. This means you'll be able to get away from monsters more easily and get to the next monster more quickly. Very helpful! It also goes on your party members, if you have any. =P
Mana Cycle - You can cast this on yourself to recover MP over time. This allows you to keep casting spells. If you get good at switching between weapons, it only takes a little over a second to switch to a harp, cast this spell on yourself, switch back to your Warlock Rod and Shield, then start fighting again. If you time it properly, you can even use this in the middle of a fight. This is also helpful for keeping party members full of MP. Cast it on yourself, then your party members, then yourself again.
Noise - This keep aggressive monsters away from you. It doesn't work on champions and giants, but it's still very useful. It keeps you safer when you're training around aggressive monsters.
Cleric Skill Descriptions
Bless Spell - This increases you and your party members' defense by A LOT for a short amount of time. It's perfect when you want to suck more HP than how much damage is being done to you.
Recovery Division - This heals the person in your party with the lowest HP every few seconds for 5 minutes. If you're not in a party, it'll heal you every few seconds for 5 minutes. Handy, but not absolutely necessary for Warlocks...
(Healing Spells - This is self explanatory. You can heal others and yourself.
Resurrecting Spells - Also self-explanatory... You can resurrect your friends if they die.) <- Party
Other Bard Spells
Temptation - This makes a monster attack other monsters. It's fun and handy, but not necessary. Get it if you want. Might as well, right?
Other Cleric Spells
Offering - I would put this up there, but you don't actually need it. It goes well with Warlocks, though. This takes a huge chunk of your HP out, but it does tons of damage and it has a huge INT multiplier. Theoretically, you could cast Recovery Division and Healing Cycle on yourself, use this, then start sapping HP. You should be filled up in no time. Couple that with Mana Cycle and you'll be ready to rock in no time. This skill probably has a cooldown, but you can use other skills if it does.
I hope that helped. I recommend Bard, simply because of the MP recovery skills you'll get. This will allow you to keep moving, since you already sap HP as a Cleric. You'll be able to run faster so your damage over time spells can keep hitting monsters and they won't be able to touch you. It's up to you, though.

When you type that way you sound more like a moron than an American.
Anyway, I wouldn't go with Bard, since the Bard has a lot of skills that require you to equip the harp. If you enequip it, the effect of the skill goes away.
I am doing Warlock/Cleric. I like to be able to help people, and as a pure iNT, I'm not supposed to be in the front line, that's what tanks are for.
