you know why i love sro and not wow? because sro is human with human more realistic, i dont like mixing race such as orc elf and others unknown, i like the SRO style, thts why i am in. :love:

imo WoW has more to offer then SRO, i mean lets be realistic now...

Blizzard unlike Joymax actually do something for their gamers, releasing new content and organising a lot of fun and competitive events. Even without the influence of Blizzard the game of WoW has way more ingame features that you can enjoy of in comparison to SRO.

whats really so much fun about sro:
- alchemy (pimping gear and plussing items is like f*ckin on cocaine)
- PVP (even though severely limited)
- jobbing (severely limited with new update, who is who and now guild/unionleaders can safely summon mercs 24/7 and completely destroy the jobbing experience
- guildwars (if there's any guild thats capable or even willing to fight you LOL).
- botting (why spend countless hours clickin buttons while you can use a bot be afk for days on end and come back to see ur char having farmed 250k sp or gaining 20+ levels) *just saying this from a neutral perspective, not asking for ban*
- getting to wear your pimped and plussed gear when you levelup
- buying new but oh so useless pets whenever joymax implements them
- ccf'ing gold / astral and immortals to gain an immortal and elite status on your server and become the strongest with ur weak build *just saying this from a neutral perspective, not asking for ban*

i still like sro more though, think soon i'll give wow a shot rofl
but sro is bad, dunno why im still playing it lol

i kno what he means by turning his life upsside down people get addictedand do anything this kid i hate at school was guna get to use his friends who he knows over WoW she was guna lend him her account when she hit 70 and when she done that he was guna change the password transfer the chars to his account and charge heaps heaps of WoW membership and it wouldve cost her heaps of money the soughta money that would make her in debut and she would commit suicide he is lucky that he didnt do it coz if he did i was guna report him to the police coz that is just low :banghead:

Here's the deal. Wow has better customer support etc. etc.

But I wouldn't want to play a game I don't like, but that has excellent customer support. I'd rather play a game I like, but with bad customer support.

But then again, it's about personal preference here.

all i can say is this...i've played sro for 1-2weeks unoffy server...lv 70 in 3days lol
SRO and WoW are the best MMORPGS i think..there are much differences between sro and wow but........

LOL... it's no secret to anyone that plays in Greece that I AFK 23/7 in Hotan/Downwhang GS.

As for WoW, I've downloaded and tried to play that game.. but something just didn't click and the graphics was horrible.

Silkroad bored the fk out of me the first few hours to, gotta try harder, u havn't seen anything to make the game interesting in 4hrs yet.

WoW is the improved version of every aspect of sro, and yes you can get over the graphic change in time..

i was never a cap player, when i get my mage to 70, i will start nother toon, the road up to 70 is what makes wow so interesting.

I left for gw and i dont regret it a single bit <3

As I see it, both SRO and WoW can mess up your life. However, SRO is free, so you won't do like "Oh, I have 1week left from my gamecard, I've gotta play as much as I can" + you won't spend THAT MUCH money for the game.

To all the SRO/WoW/L2/etc. addicts: Get a Life, friends, a girlfriend, etc!

(To be honest, I'm playing SRO too much and did some WoW stuff too! :twisted:

I tried the 10 day trial of wow. Its just running, run back and forth to do a quest, repeat that 3 times, lvl up yay.
But i gotta admit, WoW has better customer service. How hard can that be?

theres more things to do in wow at cap, more systems, little to no bots, gms that respond and try to help, good graphic (when in max setting not as blocky as sro...bet you dont check wow max setting graphics and just say there shit right?) wow is a better game only bad thing is the thing that makes it good and thats its p2p but tbh i spent more in sro then wow

thats the thing they are far better when in max setting or high setting better then sro's

also a game should not be judges by its grahpics but by its game play, storey line...if silk has one and such
