There has been no server date announced for Mecury/Mars, however im trying to gather some people who will be moving to whichever one opens first.

Moving to it gives a chance to play a server that has euro update from day one. This will eliminate the powerlevelling nonsense.

Im looking to form a Guild, if i can get 3-4 commited people before the server opens then this will be great.

The rules of the Guild will be simple;

-Must be active

-All guild members must be active on vent.

-Everyone must be legit.

-Everyone must speak fluent English, all guild chat and vent chat will be in English.

Thats the musts...

Once in the guild;

-The idea is to try to all level up together in a share party esp Euro, but chinese and euro in the same parties too. (Not a requiment)

-To have a at least 1 day a week, where all guild members try hard to be online, for pre-organised events such as multistar trades and guild wars ect.

-All try to level up fast, higher levels will create academies for the lower levels to join.

-If possible i will be selecting a variety of builds, so we can buff each other up and can have great tactics in guild wars. If anyone is interested pre-server open then builds can be discussed between us.



If anyone is slightly interested then pm me, post here, or add sroxp to your X-fire.

Those who will not be interested please post your comments on the Guild concepts.

And please dont post something retarded like (Good luck finding members for a legit guild on a new server)

Organizing a guild like this on here is a great idea but your outlines for the guild basically outline what every successful guild wants to be....


But There some questions you didn't quite answer

Who are you?

You haven't posted on the forum much so its hard for ppl to get an idea of how experienced you are. What servers do you come from what lvls were your characters. What guilds were you referenced with. Normally i wouldn't ask someone on here these questions because i'd already have an idea of what there background is like but ppl like to know what kind of leader they're going to have. Do you have ppl skillz, are you good at leading, are your dominating or willing to share your power. Stuff like that to let ppl really know what kind of guild they'd be getting into

Whats the Guild Jobs

With the new job update you basically choose one job and go from there. Jobbing solo is pretty easy if you know what your doing but solo hunters can get ambushed same as solo thief's so its best to have backup and who better than guildmates.

So is this a thief guild or a hunting guild. All guilds have certain amounts of traders especially in the beginning its a good way for the guild to lvl up early on but do you plan on having a guild thats mostly Hunters protecting traders or Thiefs thiefing and traders trading....I don't think have All 3 jobs in the guild is is a good move especially if you want to be strong and well known in a single department. Of course this is your guild so let us know whats your stance on the Job situation?

The Timezone -_-

One of the worst experiences in being in a guild is logging on and reading about the war everyone had and the server wide trade that took place while you were sleeping or at work/school......timezones are important so whats yours and is that the timezone that all the guild events will be operating on?






If i seems rude or pushy its only because im interested but like to know what im getting myself into....I've joined too many afk or inactive guilds in my time on sro and starting on a new server with an active guild ready to party and grind is an enticing offer....i just don't want to make a mistake before i get committed to something....

Who am i-Im 17 years of age, turning 18 in september, im mature and i am from London in England. My forum name Buakaw is taken from a thai boxer who competes in k1 kickboxing. I train in muay thai (thai boxing), have recently left school, and starting an apprenticeship in September.

I have been playing silkroad since the lvl60 cap, back in 2005/6. Ive had many characters, my chars on Xian, Persia and Greece are my main characters. Two level 4x and 2 level 7x.

I havent posted much on SRF, however i think its a great community, which is why i decided to try and gather some keen gamers to join a guild on the new server.

Guild-I see myself as having great leadership qualities, however i am aware that satisfiying a whole guild is a hard task, and will therefore be looking for 2-3 mature members to be co-leaders of the guild.

Being one of the first guilds created in the server is important, and leveling up the guild fast, demonstrates a strong guild, therefore Trading will be very important, to get money for leveling up the guild.

This suggests that Hunters and Traders would be the Best option for the guild, although if many of the members wish to thief and have the guild known as all thiefing guild, then this could also provide gold to level up the guild if regular thiefing runs are successful.

I enjoy thiefing, and think it would be great fun to be in a guild known as an all thief guild feared by all traders. But i am open to opinions of others.

The timezone in which i will play will be from 5pm-3am GMT. From my experience this fits in from both european and american timezones. I will be very active and always in vent/teamspeak while online.

The timezone in which i decide to organise Guild/Union events will depend on the majority of players which are in the guild. And will be aimed so that all players to participate. Most European players who are very active gamers, will still be online when the , 5 hour behind American players are online, i am sure that organising times to suit all players will not be a big problem. Other timezones such as Australia/Asia i am not so experienced with however im sure this will not be a great problem either.

I dont have a Vent/Teamspeak server atm however i can purchase a server as and when its needed. I believe that players interact better and guild's gel better while speaking on such programs as Vent, as they get the chance to understand each other better and talk about things other than silkroad, which in turn forms stronger relationships. On a more serious note..Id love to join a guild thats motivating and well-spoken. But im sure Im among many who are anticipating the start of a new server..however I have a feeling no one will be going chinese and everyone will go euro , anyways you can count me in.

Im glad that im getting some interest now, and im sure many more will be too, however the server may still not open for some time.

I would like it if this thread was to stay active until the open of the server, so those who are interested please post any questions, or suggestions as to if it should be a thiefing/hunting guild ect...

Or possible guild names, however i think i will chose a name, that i wont announce publicly incase someone steals it, same as i suggest not to mention your future IGN for the same reason

@Master_Mind i think Trading and Hunting will provide the most income for the guild however, changing at 3x-4x will be a mistake. Getting a name for the guild, ie Thief guild or Hunter guild is established early on, also changing will decrease your level in that job, therefore making it harder to achieve a high level in one of them, which is even more so important as it can be checked up on the silkroad main site, who is the best thief in the server ect.

And @Easy_Lady I will be making a Chinese for sure, and will hope to level up along side Euros in an Auto Share Party

Wow....ts has the worst sound quality I have ever heard in my entire life, vent has so much more tools and sound options that it just leaves ts in the dust, also vent has cristal clear sound quality.

=] I used ts before and thought it was ok, but when I used vent, I just fell in love with the sound quality over teamspeak

Are you serious? Vents quality sucks, what did you go on TS with a bad codec on or something. My TS sever is clear. But since you said the worst sound quality in your life you must have been in a server with a low codec

I'm in, but... must we use vent? Personally I hate using such things and left my old union for that fact. If you weren't on Teamspeak you'd miss important things going on within union as they wouldn't announce it in union chat.

Am interested myself, despite being sure I wouldn't move servers, simply because of the following:

- GMT timezone
- I'm a vent whore
- English speaking guildies
- Organised

My only query is that how active would you expect people to be? I mean I could probably make an appearance every day, or every other day, but I'm not sure how long for per day. My reason for this is I am working through my summer holidays, then in 3 weeks i'll be at both college & work, leaving me little time for SRO.

Would be nice if you could reply Buakaw, since your original post was over a week ago, and I'd like to see if this idea is likely to come into fruition.
