we found spiritpower botting, Ryoko himself, saw with his own eyes in the caves, sure he's never admitted it so he cant be banned against the lax rules here. but we KNOW he does/did, why should we allow that?

1) BANNING. i seen many members and old skool folks get banned left and right with the << >> in their sig and i believe people shouldn't get ban unless it's absoolutely necesary like spambots and et. for instance its no secret that over 90 perc of people in tis game bot and there are many peeps here that hide in the closet. some peeps who been here for al ong time made post confessing to using a bot and got ban. i dont think that's right as long as the person dont flame the legits and claim have no life. i hate that too as im only level 63 all these months. but people who admits to botting shouldn't be banned

Bitch and moan all you want, a privately hosted forum does not have to abide by any rules of freedom of speech. The owner of the site selects people that he feels best uphold the rules he wishes to enforce (which could be for the love of a game, to increase traffic, or satisfy some really weird fetish).

He could decide to ban anyone with a number in their username just because he can, his authority is absolute.

Those of you that have been members for a long time will recall when the forum was shut down. It was horrible for everyone that enjoys calling this site a favorite. Thankfully he decided to continue SRF. To all of the ungrateful people out there I say go to hell. The rest of you have a nice day.

I honestly don't think this forum is all that bad. Sure, it's not quite how it used to be, but I think a lot of it is our (the users') fault. There's only so much a mod team can do. Maybe there are some mods that tend to be power hungry, but part of that is learning what's appropriate and not appropriate to do as a mod.

Then you also have the normal users who insist on getting into flame wars or responding to the "ZOMG BOT!!?!?!?!!!ONE!1111!!!" threads complaining that there are so many bot threads (not just bot but similar "useless" threads.) I find it ironic when someone posts in a useless thread telling other people to not respond to it... all that does is bump the thread.

Well, I am certainly guilty of that.

On that note, I do have a suggestion to the mods/admins: how about we just put an end to all of this talk about botting. Enough of the accusations(regardless of the presence/absence of evidence), enought of the insults, the namecalling, and anything else that seems to come out with these accusations. There may have been a time when it actually meant something to accuse someone, but nowadays it sounds like nothing more than a witch hunt, the kind of thing you say about somebody you don't like.

Can't we all just get along?
