Define Hip-Hop ?

Nelly?
Eminem?
Fort Minor?
Lady Soverign?
The streets?

Theres so many styles. I guess I don't like the stereotype hip hop that's .. well not trying to be racist but black people dressed in sports gear and designer clothes with crystal singing bout how they wanna 'bang those bitches'. Give me a bit of Fort Minor's or Mike Skinner :>

If HipHop, then The Streets or Dizzee Rascal <3

The Streets - Fit But You Know It
The Streets - Fit But You Know It (Remix)

Dizzee Rascal - I Luv U
Dizzee Rascal - Fix up, Look sharp

So mainly british HipHop, I think I like it because it's ... different from the mainstream. I am not into this bling-bling-niqqa-pow-pow-kind of hip hop / rap and I find it rather ridiculous.

Normally I don't listen to HipHop really...

Generally people associated with the hip hop culture (from personal experience) are loud, rude, and always seem to act "hard" as they call it. Not to mention their ridiculous clothing style, imo of course.

Almost every genre of music has lost it's quality, and when I think about it, hip-hop is the absolute lowest.

Rock music is about being depressed most of the time.
Hip-hop is and has almost always been about being a manwhore and having a bunch of loose women all over you.

I listen to almost everything and I have to say hip-hop isn't very respectable or likable at all the last.. 10 years I guess?

And wtf is the point of grabbing your crotch every two words? Is it a magic lyric stick that helps you remember the words to the song 'you' wrote?

There is no depression in death metal or hardcore. Skapunk is "happy" music.

Rock is waayy too broad of a term to use...

I stopped listening to hip hop a few years ago. Got tired of it.

I have a playlist on my ipod called "***** tunes". It's songs like that. Artistically, garbage; for clubbing, good.

hip-hiphop-hiphopanonymous

nah im gettign sick of ppl comparing hip hop and current rap like theres a difference.....The fine line that divides the two genres isn't s big deal...its like ppl arging that death-metal is different from scream-metal which is different from neo-christian- death rock- metal.......all the same imo...most of its noise some of it has meaning and sometimes its just good music

If they wear "grillz", have silver chains down to their belly button, have shirts down to their knees, or speak in ebonics: it's garbage.
