I sent a PM to one mod and then had another mod take that PM, respond to it in public as a personal attack (against the rules, but the tag sets you above such things) and I got warned and the mod's post remains. LOL

But the truth of the matter is, we arent allowed free speech in a forum. A forum rules are only there for looks and thin skin of fairness. They are only as enforceable as those in control wish them to be. You are here at their discretion and tolerance. It is not a microsm of democracy but more of a dictator's regime. THe only right you have in a public form is the right to leave and not post.

So I say, "meh" and respect the people I know deserve it and everyone else passes without much notice.

I have to agree with Dem on the derailing thing.

SRF isn't what it used to be. This place changed alot. Good, in some ways. Unfortunately bad in too many other ways. I never really met you Dem, but I admire you for what you're doing here. Openly standing up against the 'guards'(For the lack of a better word. >_>) of th place you love.

And hence, yes, I'm sad Ryoko left as well. And anyone around here for longer then a year should be too. This place was better before.

The only time I received an "unofficial warning" I was flaming.

The only time I complained about a mod's behavior, it was dealt with appropriately.

So my only complaint is that you are a bit too lenient and should ban more members.

Yes it was. But BlackFox IS Spirit because Ryoko said something about that the account was made on the same IP.

Heh, this doesn't sound much like the Demarthl I used to know in Xian, I guess a lot more than i realized has changed in sro/srf while i was gone than i thought.

Ban more, double the problem.

Lot's of people will, and have, come back. Only then they'll often seek for revenge. That's one major problem of boards nowadays. And I suppose you can notice this in Dem's current actions as well.
I agree the place should be a bit purified though. Stricter management of rules, more IP bans.

I think you guys need to understand, there is only so much mods can do.
I too also miss the old days, sure there was the odd problem, but it was a general happy-go-lucky atmosphere around which was nice.

Whats changed is the community. The people. You. Us. Me.

The mods can do their part, but you guys have to do your part too.

We have several members which IMO need to GTFO of SRF forums, because they constantly flame, and never add anything constructive to a topic. I need not mention names, because we can all list 20+ people with so much as a second thought.

True. And why I respect people like Psych...admits he was having a bad day, apologizes to the mods and the members, learns from it and moves on. For those that return for revenge, keep banning until they lose interest.
